The Specialist: Cyber Security is responsible for establishing and enforcing information security to protect the computer infrastructure, networks and data against cyber-attacks and internal threats. The position will achieve this by co-ordinating security services from service providers and act as the primary integration layer into the company; the key functional themes are Cyber Security Services, Service Providers, SLA Management.

The primary functions of this position include validating the effectiveness of existing security measures and developing an overall strategy to ensure the long-term information security efficiency and regulatory compliance. Maintain high performing service support functions as per the Service Level Agreement. The job duties include establishing IT security policies and procedures, managing vulnerabilities, managing the security operations centre service, effective incident management, regulating access to information and training staff on proper use of information systems. Monitoring infrastructure, devices and systems for security gaps, design effective solutions and provide reports to management and executive staff.

Principal Accountabilities
Contribute to the design of the IT Divisional Strategy and ensure strategies are implemented and integrated within areas of responsibility
Design/ Contribute to the IT Department Strategy taking into account specialist expertise, best practice, benchmarking and market standards etc.
Determines policies, processes, action plans and systems to support implementation of the strategy
Identify and drive initiatives to support profitability and cost containment in department and division
Manage and control budget in area of responsibility
Manage the built-in security systems to software, hardware and components
Develop strategies for software systems, networks, data centers and hardware
Understand the QA software and hardware for security vulnerabilities and risks

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT Security at NQF level 7 is essential
Relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage
One or more these industry IT Security and or Cybersecurity Certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, ISO2-001 Lead Implementer
ITIL certification will be an advantage
3 – 5 years’ experience in IT Security Service Management
Experience developing departmental policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Cyber operations management experience and responsibility leading cyber programmes
Knowledge and Skills
Experience with security programme that assesses current security posture and recommends effective policies and strategies for long-term protection of the IT assets
Experience in dealing with cyber-security incidents, vulnerabilities management and overall security strategies

Job Purpose
The Head Chef plays a key role in overseeing the culinary operations and managing the production of food for our clients and ensure that production standards are aligned throughout the different catering units of the company.

Plans, coordinates, facilitates and manages the food production processes in collaboration with various departments throughout the manufacturing value chain. Ensures optimal resources and materials are available to support the production processes and deployed to extract maximum value while minimising wastage. Ensures that the production processes are carried out in full compliance of high international food safety and quality standards on a consistent basis.

Manages the corporate canteens productivity, ensuring that costs are maintained low and enhance profitability without compromising the product quality while driving sales volumes.

Principal Accountabilities
Ensure that the production team is trained and workshopped on all menu designs, cooking processes, plating, etc. to ensure the quality of menu items is adhered to and maintained at all times
Oversee and manage the entire food production value chain (Cold, Halaal /Special Meals, Bakery, Butchery and Hot kitchen to ensure food is prepared according to menu specifications, appropriate cooking methods and Food Safety Standards to ensure optimal food availability according to flight schedules and customer requirements (All cuisines)
Ensure that HACCP and other Food Safety standards are adhered to at all times, take a lead in ensuring the Critical Control Points (CCP) are timeously recorded and take proactive corrective actions where there are deviations
Work closely with R&D and procurement for new product development recipes and new product development to ensure conversion and feasibility of mass production
Keep abreast of the latest trends of cooking methodologies and equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency

Participate in menu design in collaboration with the Commercial department and Research & Development Chef and implement approved menu specifications in line with customer requirements
Coordinates all SAP production planning activities to ensure that the set food costs are managed and the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is maintained within the set strategic parameters
Monitors all required SAP functions – stock reservation, confirmation of production orders and stock take
Continuously evaluate the quality of products in the production value chain (raw materials to final products) to ensure menu specifications, recipes and quality standards are according to client specifications
Ensures the implementation and maintenance of food safety management systems/protocols to ensure adherence to legislative requirements and sound food preparation practices

The Cabin Crew member is responsible to ensure the on-board safety of the Airline’s customers and to provide a 5-star customer experience on-board in line with SAA’s Customer Service Standards. The role will ensure that the on-board service delivered to customers complies with the touch-point standards, service procedures and duties defined for the aircraft type operated and ensure the uncompromised excellent customer experience throughout the pairing.

The role will effectively perform this function by following through on instructions by the SCCM on all aircrafts. Further, the Cabin Crew member will effectively resolve all conflict and disputes for customers on all flights. The role will assist in promoting the Corporate Brand, protecting the company’s goodwill and ensuring the Company’s image is upheld.

Lastly, the Cabin Crew member will adhere to standard operating procedures and are accountable to the Purser on all aircraft. The role will report all non-compliances to company standards to the Purser and or Commander.
