Purpose of the Position:
To manage key accounts, maintain a long term & healthy relationship with key stakeholders, with the primary objective of delivery on the company’s sales and Customer experience objectives, for the respective channel
Key Performance Objectives
Stakeholder Management
Primary owner of the relationship for assigned channel.
Develop a healthy, productive and respectful relationship with all key customers/ stakeholders based on integrity and professionalism.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
Drive Retail Sell Out to achieve Sales Targets & Objectives, using Retail Marketing Strategies and Promotional Planning.
Responsible for demand management for channel to ensure a stable and predictable product supply and sales forecast.
Own a retail Marketing and Promotions Calendar, underpinned by a Strategic Account Plan.
Responsible for Co-op Advertising negotiation and Investment
Focus on Key customer KPI’s of Supplier SLA’s, including In-Stock Rate and Aged Inventory
Facilitate new product listing & price and volume negotiations.
Share Cyclical Briefs to Regional Operations structure for In-Store execution of POS, Display, Product Demonstrations, product Training.
Develop relationships with Store level stakeholders and conduct regular “shop outs” to maintain close understanding of In-Store activity, performance and customer behavior.
Develop relationship to create new value and opportunities.
Own escalated customer complaints for the channel from a service perspective.
Ensure that sales and pricing claims on their debtors trading accounts are proactively resolved
To support finance in recovering overdue and non-payment by clients.
Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner as per the customer needs and objectives.
Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Reporting
Prepare monthly/ Weekly Run Rate and Demand Management
Perform Sales Analysis by Store
Prepare Promotional Calendar Including Promo type and price / competitor mapping
Annual Sales Strategy & Budget Planning
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Forecast and track key account metrics
Prepare reports on account status, give recommendations to maximize sales as per the identifying trends, gaps and opportunities. (Strategic Account Plan / Joint Account Planning)
Qualifications
Degree in sales/Marketing/Business Management
Post Grad qualification advantageous

Purpose of the Position
To effectively manage and ensure the execution is in line with strategy and creative direction for the LEC Channels Scripted Content to achieve business objectives.
Key Performance Objectives
Tasks
Strategy Formulation and Execution
Assist Senior Manager Scripted Content: Telenovela and Drama in creating a strategy for scripted content in line with linear or SVOD target audience.
Develop original drama series.
Write commission briefs according to channel strategy.
Support in driving the implementation of new trends in scripted content, new territories and approaches to contemporary programmes.
Content Execution
Develop innovative new programmes taking into consideration the Channel or Platforms positioning and strategy.
Prepare and present viable content proposals.
Ensure sifting of proposals (whether by submissions portal or tender) complies to ICASA regulations, and tender deadlines.
Ensure commissioned content achieves set ratings
Review audience ratings and provide contingency plans where required.
Manage Production
Manage the tentpole drama series.
Ensure that programmes are produced to the highest standard and are cost-effective.
Manage the commissioning process.
Manage all productions houses strictly to contractual deliverables and ensure all contractual agreements are signed prior to production for all LEC Dramas
Manage budget and contracts for all productions for all LEC Dramas
Approve scripts and shooting schedules for all LED Drama programmes
View and provide editorial input on all programmes at online and offline stage for Dramas
Approve all final Drama programmes for broadcast.
Take overall editorial responsibility for programmes and ensure that programmes satisfy Mzansi & Showmax editorial standards for Dramas
Ensure producers deliver programs and promotional material as per agreed schedule
Ensure content is delivered on time for multiplatform
Ensure all episodes and promos are considered against BCCSA standards and assessed for risk within target audience.
Ensure that marketing and PR teams are kept abreast of concepts, casting and delivery for Dramas
Stakeholder Management
Establish and maintain effective relationships with Independent Producers.
Foster and develop strong relationship with production companies and sponsors.
Regularly follow up with and feedback to critical business partners.
Qualifications
A Post Graduate Degree in Film and Television/ Marketing/Scriptwriting or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 8years of experience as an executive producer, series producer or commissioning
