It is also a Winner of the Standard Bank KZN – Top Brand award for 2022, a centre of excellence and a leading provider of dignified burial solutions.
Icebolethu Group is currently in search of vibrant Field Agents in the Western CapeProvinces, who will facilitate bringing in new business through cold calling selling of Icebolethu products. The incumbent should possess but no limited to the following.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications.
• Matric/ Grade 12
• A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous
• RE1 or RE5 certification is advantageous
Experience and Knowledge required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in sales, customer service or field operations
• Experience in the funeral assurance, insurance, or financial service sector is preferred
• Background in client engagement and compliant handling will be beneficial
• Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
• Financial Service Experience (advantageous)
• Clear Credit & Criminal Record
Skills and Competencies required.
• Proven sales ability including cross-selling and upselling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
• Honest, reliable, and ethical conduct
• Able to work independently and make sound decisions
• Solid administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to understand and resolve customer concerns effectively
• Proficiency in at least three official languages spoken in the relevant province
Key Performance Areas
• Promote and sell funeral assurance policies to new and existing clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Handle client queries and resolve complaints within the agreed service levels.
• Execute customer retention strategies to maintain and grow client base.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper administrative processes.
• Proactively call clients to restructure, retain, or resell existing policies.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS and FSCA regulations.
• Meet and exceed set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Negotiate with clients for contract renewals and policy retention.

APOSTLE Mkhize is the founder of Mount Zion Christian Centre in Mpumalanga Township where he serves full time as an Apostle and Prophet. He has founded and directed three other companies, Zionland Missions Centre (PTY) Ltd, Zionland TV (PTY) Ltd and Zionland Foundation.
He holds a Teachers Diploma majoring in Technical Drawing and Theological & Business Management Certificate. He has worked as an Educator at Eminyezane Secondary School, then as a Training and Marketing Manager at Sanlam, then later worked as a selfemployed Property Manager.

NOMFUNDO MCOYI is an accomplished multi skilled entrepreneur and community builder based in KwaZulu Natal. She is the founder and CEO of Icebolethu Group which currently boasts over 120 branches in KwaZulu Natal with one in the United Kingdom and currently employs over 1500 staff.
Ms Mcoyi is the Chairperson of the KZN South African Funeral Practitioners Association and is a shareholder at Scribante Labour Consultants as well as Blacksuits. She has won numerous awards including the STD Bank KZN Top Business Women for 2019.

NOMIHLALI is the Member of the Institute of Directors South Africa and serves as Director of Nissi Business Solutions (PTY) Ltd a company she founded in July 2013. Her previous employment includes Recruitment Consultant as Tech-Pro Personnel,
Human Resources Officer at Foster Wheeler SA, HR Practitioner: Group Resourcing and HR Superintendent, Acting Chief Director-HR at Department of Trade & Industry, Human Capital Manager at Lonmin as well as Executive HR Director at Aveng Trident Steel.
Nomihlali holds an MCom in Business Management, Honours in Industrial Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Management and Certificate in Executive Leadership.
NOLUTHANDO MNGADI
CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
NOLUTHANDO is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than twelve years post qualification experience. She has professional experience in financial management and control, corporate governance, audit, commercial engagement and stakeholder management.
She completed her articles at Price WaterHouse Coopers, after which she joined Celrose Clothing (Pty) Ltd as a Financial Accountant, Auditor General (South Africa) as a Senior Audit Manager, Chief Financial Officer at Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environment Affairs and currently is serving at the University of KwaZulu Natal as a Director for Research Financial Services.
