Portfolio Manager (Global)

We are currently seeking applications from dynamic individuals for the following position:
- Position: Portfolio Manager (Global)
- *Job Grade: E2-E4

Purpose of the role:
To develop, implement and manage the Systematic Global equity portfolio. Ensure an informed investment perspective that influences decisions beneficial to the PIC’s global equity portfolio. This role involves delivering investment insights to both internal and external clients of the PIC and the effective management of the Assistant Portfolio Manager and Research Analysts activities.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- B degree in Commerce, Finance or Science
- At least 8 to 10 years relevant experience
- At least 5-10 years of people management experience
- FAIS Representative (or must be obtained within 6 months of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance or Science
- CFA Institute / SAICA/ or Similar
Minimum Technical/Core Skill Requirement
- Investment analysis
- Evaluate market intelligence
- Recommend sector stocks
- Portfolio construction and maintenance
- Risk and Return attribution
- Develop Excel-based valuation models
- Manage the fundamental equity models
- People Leadership
Duties:
Portfolio Management of sector Fund in order to generate superior returns;
- Develop viable systematic global equity strategy, with AI/machine learning inputs
- Implement portfolio construction techniques to effectively manage the portfolio
- Detailed risk budgeting analysis, developing risk management processes for the global equity
strategy - Provide Investment Report to governance structures and clients.
- Lead a team of Investment Professionals (Assistant PM and Analyst(s))

PMV Properties Analyst
We are currently seeking applications from dynamic individuals for the following position:
- Position: PMV Properties Analyst x1

Purpose of the role:
To manage, monitor and analyse financial and non-financial performance information of Real Estate
Investments (Direct and Indirect Investments) and their respective counterparties. Overseeing allocated
investments against their long-term financial goals, risk mitigation and contributing to the development of value enhancement strategies.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- B Com Degree (Finance, Accounting, Commerce)
- 2 – 3 relevant experience
Minimum Technical/Core Skill Requirement
- Investment report writing
- Proficient in Excel and financial modelling
- Financial analysis and interpretation
- Measuring Investment performance
- Demonstratable deal-making experience (debt, equity and/or quasi-equity)
- Demonstrates understanding of Portfolio and Investment Management
- Knowledge of Financial Analysis and interpretation
- Experience in Financial Modelling
Duties:
- Conduct financial analysis of investments
- Assist with collecting, validating and analysing information provided by investee companies
- Preparing and presenting research reports
- Assist with portfolio management and enforce best ESG practices
- Compile quarterly monitoring and site visit reports
- Review performance of the investments
- Leading PMV administrative projects
- Preparing mandate compliance-related reports
