As Regional Sector Head you will shape the strategy & agenda for regional sector development in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the different functions and Business Units. Drive business development within the sector through developing and executing the regional sector growth plan.
In this Regional Sector Head, Life Science and Healthcare, MNC Position
- Deliver Multi-National Customer (MNC) channel regional sector volume growth and financial performance achievement (GP) against budget goals.
- Have oversight to and manage the overall performance of all MNC customers within the sector for the region
- Drive best-in-class business development, account management and sales activities for sector customers covering MNC (prospects and existing)
- Lead multiple teams both directly and indirectly: Lead team of MNC GCMs and RCMs regionally, with focus on team formation, account allocation, team development and overall performance management. Drive organizational development for the sector via succession planning / training / coaching / mentoring activities for MNC GCMs and RCMs
- Collaborate with global sector leadership, regional/country M&S management, product teams and other functional areas to successfully deliver profitable growth against agreed budgeted targets.
- Define, own and communicate the sector strategy in line with overall business strategy, objectives, guidelines and policies for the division
- Build best in class sector community within the BU and across the other BU. Share knowledge and receive feedback from the community to enhance sector development
- Drive divisional initiatives aligned with sector strategy. Provide input to support network investment opportunities to ensure suitable ROI for the business and the region
- Proactively monitor industry intelligence and competitor activities. Communicate key aspects back to the business and consider impact on own divisional strategy
- Define sector marketing plan aligned to functional and divisional objectives, determine research priorities. Differentiate marketing plan for different sales channels and sub-sectors
- Identify key trends in the sector/ industry, translate & ensure development of innovative solutions together with stakeholders
- Benchmark sectors value proposition against operational execution and customer expectations. Engage stakeholders accordingly. Steer innovation across sector
- Actively guide the RFQ process and give guidance and support as necessary
- Responsible for the management of sector bid calendar. Effectively communicate to the stakeholders both directly and via the commercial leads
- Provide input to annual budget process and monitor performance against budget on regular cadence
- Provide regional sales collateral to support customer facing sector activities
- Support global and regional customer events within own division as well as cross-BU
- Drive senior customer engagement (i.e. actively visiting customers)
- Develop short to long-term (1-5 years) plans for optimizing the organization, function, or job-family and the talent required to execute strategies

WMS Data Analyst
Role Outline
To enable data driven warehouse operations across multiple sites by extracting, modelling, and analysing data from Manhattan WMS (WMOS2017 and Manhattan Active) and related systems to enhance productivity, accuracy, and service levels. Develop reliable reporting assets and translate operational challenges into analytical insights that drive measurable and sustainable outcomes.
Key Tasks
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models for inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory control, cycle counting, and labour performance.
• Develop KPI definitions, calculation logic, and data lineage for a single source of truth across sites.
• Perform root-cause analysis on short/mis-picks, wave delays, congestion, and queue bottlenecks; recommend process changes.
• Extract and transform data from Manhattan WMOS / Manhattan Active WMS (including order streaming, allocation, replenishment, carbonisation, slotting, RF flows).
• Implement reliable ELT/ETL from WMS and adjacent systems (TOMS/TMS/Other sources) into the data warehouse/lake with robust error handling and reconciliation.
• Define and monitor data quality rules (completeness, validity, consistency); maintain a data dictionary and steward reference/master data.
• Partner with Operations, Site Leads, Solutions Design, Engineering, and Finance to prioritize analytics use cases and land insights into SOPs.
• Support UAT, go-live, and hyper care for analytics components; align with ITIL incident/problem/change processes.
• Coach super users; drive adoption and ensure role-based access controls and compliance (e.g., POPIA).
• Adhere to company Information Security policies, POPIA, and role-based access controls.
• Ensure KPI and data lineage documentation is complete and audit ready.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle preferred), Power BI (DAX, M), and dimensional data modelling.
• Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) and ITIL Foundation.
Experience:
• 4–6+ years of warehouse/WMS analytics experience, with ≥3 years hands-on experience in Manhattan WMS (WMOS or Active).

Role Outline
Responsible and accountable for the co-ordination and optimizing of Transport and sub-contractor fleet operations. Data Scientist
Role Outline
To design, build, and operationalize machine learning and optimization solutions that deliver measurable improvements in planning, execution, and service performance across warehousing and logistics. Translate high-value use cases into production-ready models with clear ROI and strong user adoption.
Key Tasks
• Frame analytical problems, define success metrics, and design robust experiments (A/B tests or quasi experimental designs).
• Build data pipelines and validated training/evaluation datasets and establish and maintain feature stores as needed.
• Train, evaluate, and iterate on models (including tree based methods, time series, clustering, and deep learning when appropriate).
• Implement Machine Learning Operations practices, including experiment tracking, model registry, CI/CD, and monitoring for drift and performance degradation; automate retraining where feasible.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to deliver reliable batch and API integrations into BI platforms and operational systems.

In this Ocean Freight Imports Controller Position
- Provide front line contact with customer and maintain high levels of customer service.
- Manage the clients requirements outlined on client SOP
- Attending to client queries and complaints as required.

- Ensuring the accurate tariffs application on all shipments billings.
- Take full responsibility at file level for GP/Job Profitability and raising any issues or incidents that would impact the profitability of the account.
- Performs IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipment
- File processing in accordance with all operational CW1 SOP’s/ DGF Work Manuals.
- Making sure all operational KPI’s are met and maintained with specific focus on station metrics
- Capture and monitor system time stamps required for client status reports and KPI’s.

Role Outline
The Transport Controller is responsible in managing and co-ordinating the movement of goods and vehicles/trucks to ensure timely, sale and efficient delivery by executing the planning in an end-to-end process – e.g. from loading to offloading.
