KOMMERSIëLE BESTUURDER | COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Grey Kollege Pre-Primêr, Primêr en Sekondêr is ‘n parallelmediumskool vir ongeveer 2400 seuns (stad en koshuis), in die hart van die Vrystaat, Bloemfontein. Die skool het ‘n ryk geskiedenis van tradisies en ´n nalatenskap sedert 1855.

Hierdie betrekking is beskikbaar vanaf 1 July 2026

Grey Kollege is op soek na ‘n Kommersiële Bestuurder om strategiese en kommersiële groei te dryf deur nie-skoolgeld-inkomste uit te brei deur middel van borgskappe, verskafferooreenkomste, kontrakonderhandelinge, en bedrywighede soos College Corner en Grey Armour, terwyl die skool se handelsmerk en reputasie beskerm word. Die rol dek finansiële beplanning, marknavorsing, voldoening, en toesig oor die Bemarking- en Handelsmerkbestuurder om te verseker dat bemarking- en handelsmerkpogings kommersiële doelwitte ondersteun. Dit behels ook die bou van verhoudings met borge, alumni, verskaffers en belanghebbendes, die lei van spanne na prestasiedoelwitte, en die verteenwoordiging van die skool by eksterne geleenthede.

Minimum Vereistes:

• Baccalaureusgraad in Bedryfsadministrasie, Finansies, Regte, of verwante veld (CA(SA) word sterk verkies)
• 5–7 jaar ondervinding in kommersiële bestuur, regte, sakeontwikkeling, of bedrywighede — verkieslik in die onderwys- of dienstesektor
• Sterk onderhandelings-, kontrakbestuur- en finansiële/begrotingsvaardighede
• Bewese leierskapsvermoë en ondervinding in belanghebbendebestuur
• Gevorderde MS Office-vaardigheid
• Kennis van CRM-/kontrakbestuursagteware sal voordelig wees
• Strategiese, entrepreneuriese ingesteldheid en uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede

This vacancy is available from 1 July 2026

Grey College is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive strategic and commercial growth by expanding non-tuition revenue through sponsorships, vendor agreements, contract negotiations, and operations like College Corner and Grey Armour, all while protecting the school’s brand and reputation. The role covers financial planning, market research, compliance, and oversight of the Marketing and Brand Manager to ensure marketing and branding efforts support commercial goals. It also involves building relationships with sponsors, alumni, vendors, and stakeholders, leading teams toward performance targets, and representing the school externally.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field (CA(SA) highly preferred)
• 5–7 years’ experience in commercial management, law, business development, or operations — preferably in education or services
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and financial/budgeting skills
• Proven leadership ability and stakeholder management experience
• Advanced MS Office proficiency;
• Knowledge of CRM/contract management software will be an advance
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skills
