Job PurposeThe Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has opportunities for two (2) suitably qualified and competent individuals to render a Supply Chain Management service for goods and services that incorporates demand management, acquisition management and contract management. These posts are stationed in Cape Town, CBD.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.

Key Performance AreasProvide the following services: Demand management; Acquisition management; Contract management; Logistics and payment; File and database management; General administration.
CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Public Finance Management Act; Supply Chain Management; Procurement prescripts; Skills needed: Proven computer literacy; Communication (written and verbal); Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Report writing; Problem solving; Analytical; Planning and organising.
RemunerationR 359 517 per annum (Salary level 8)
