REQUIREMENTS : A Bachelor’s degree on NQF level 7 with majors in Auditing/Internal Auditing
and Accounting. Completion of the General Internal Auditing (Including IAT
learner ship – ((3 years)) leaner ship from the IIA. Process competencies:
communication, both oral and writing. Client orientation and customer focus.
Honesty and integrity. Service delivery innovation. Knowledge management:
Financial management. Problem solving and analysis. Program and project
management. People management and empowerment change management.
Public Service Regulatory Framework. Applying and using technology.
DUTIES : The successful candidate will participate in the development of strategic
internal audit plans. Evaluating the department’s controls/objectives, to
determine their effectiveness and efficiency through internal audits. Collect information and compile reports to the accounting officer and audit committee.
Keep up to date with new developments in the internal audit environment.
