Description:
A challenging vacancy currently exists for a VIP Chauffer in the Facilities Department at Groenkloof National Park.
The remuneration package includes a basic salary, based on the salary scale of a position with a Paterson B2 grade and allowances and benefits as specified in the HR Tariff Document and Conditions of Services of SANParks.

Requirements:
- Grade 12.
- A valid Code C1 with a PrDP drivers license with a Professional Permit to transport People (PDP).
- Minimum of five years of driving experience necessary.
- Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Excellent driving abilities, and strong customer service skills.
- Chauffeurs to act professionally and courteously at all times.
- Health and Safety, driver safety, and driving etiquette are everyone’s responsibility.
- Knowledge with regards to the general maintenance of infrastructure, including but not limited to building maintenance and security operation will count as an added advantage.
- Punctual, neat, and responsible.
- Good Communication skills
- VIP Security operation experience
Responsibilities:
- To provide professional transport services to and from destinations or for special assignments.
- To operate a pick-up and delivery service for the office of the CEO and the Board.
- To keep records of items received and/or delivered.
- To Pick up and deliver a variety of materials for the whole organization which includes committee agendas, reports, manuals, and any other official documents.
- Responsible for prescribed records, i.e., log sheets with regard to equipment used.
- To sift and sort incoming mail and prepare mail for delivery as required..
- To be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- To perform any other related duties assigned and work after hours when necessary..
- Transport of work teams and ad hoc tasks when required
- Assist with printing and binding as and when required.
- Assist with other administrative duties when required.
