Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management
Industrial Engineering, or Inventory Management an advantage
Intermediate computer literacy level in MS Word and Outlook
Knowledge of WMS systems
Highly proficient in Excel/PowerPoint for data management and
reporting
Job Related Requirements
2-5 Years’ experience in a warehouse environment
Extensive knowledge of Inbound, Outbound and Return
processes and workflows
Must be able to meet and manage customer expectations and
ensure compliance to Policies, Regulations, Work Instructions
and Workloads.
A sound understanding of the Supply Chain.
Must have the ability to handle conflict on a tactical and
operational level
Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with all
levels of management
Punctuality and good time management skills are essential
elements for this position

Main purpose of the role
You play your part in the communication between operational colleagues and our software suppliers. Working
as a “man-in-the-middle” to translate the requirements from operations to the FMS system. You will be
responsible to configure and test the solution offered to our client and operational colleagues as well as action
issue tickets logged by our FMS team.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Support Specialist, you will work with our Freight Management System. You will be actively configuring
and supporting our FMS application MPO and you will be the point of contact for South Africa. Within this
scope, you communicate with, for example, local engineers, colleagues from BCM or our software suppliers.
Within your team, projects are clearly defined. You make good preparations together with your team. And are
on standby during the implementation period to keep everything on track and solve problems in a timely
manner. In addition, you and your team test and deliver software solutions internally. You then assist your
colleagues in their final installation and commissioning.
You get all this done by:
Communicating and following up on requests to our software suppliers in line with SLAs via Jira;
Configuring and testing our software vendors’ products;
Providing support to your operational colleagues;
Developing work processes and standardisation within your team.
