Analyse additional volumes and the impact it will have on a specific line when new products are launched as well as the procurement lead times on product availability. Ensure space bottlenecks are identified and communicated for further investigations and analysis to ensure sufficient space in the network is determined in advance. Analyse batch sizes vs. shelf-life requirement and impact the predetermined batch size will have on supply of the product in the network (warehouse space, Freshness of stock, obsolete stock) Plan optimal stock levels for semi- and finished goods to ensure pre-defined customer service levels are on target. Take ownership of channel to ensure sufficient and optimal stock levels are maintained by ensuring constant and timeous communication with the deployment team regarding product group/sku priorities. Analyse the total supply chain function to ensure target OFR % is met and maintained. Give input and report on sales and operations planning Ensure accurate information is available to optimise rough cut capacity plans with impact of constraints for best possible inputs to the S & OP process. Identify bottlenecks, processes, constraints that have an impact on current supply and possible solutions/corrective measures. Ensure daily reporting at summary level of channel information (Obsolete stock, constraints, impact of supply disruption, potential supply problems) by monitoring, identifying and implementing corrective measures in the supply channel.
