ETD ISDG Finance Graduate Trainee

Requirement

  • National Diploma/ B Tech / Bachelor’s Degree in cost and Management Accounting/ Finance
  • 2 years relevant experience in Local Government Finance
  • Knowledge of Government legislation relevant to Education and Training practices
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Policy
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Planning and Organising skills with good attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office package

Salary: Basic:R220 458 p.a

Key Performance Areas

  • Manages the implementation of Financial controls/procedures and provides information to support financial planning sequences in order to comply with MFMA and other pertinent legislation, policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and controlling expenditure and income within the district by extracting monthly reposts and analysing monthly reports
  • Monitoring and controlling expenditure and income within the ETD by extracting monthly reports and analysing income and expenditure
  • Prepare virements and journals
  • Providing consolidated financial information in the form of inventory analysis, forecasting, expenditure analysis
  • Monitoring compliance performance and compilation of data
  • Facilitating the implementation of corporate financial related policies and procedures in support of legislation, good governance and service delivery

Field Data Production Officer

Requirements:

  • Relevant BTech/Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 to 5 years working experience in build environment or related field.
  • Project Management
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: Build environment with ArcGIS components & Change Detection
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and Project based administrative skills
  • Must be prepared to work city wide.
  • Prepared to work outside normal working hours when required
  • Prepared to attend continuous training to keep up with technology

Salary: Basic:R478 299 p.a

Key Performance Areas

  • Identifying, initiating, and managing project to improve process efficiency and maximize the City’s income streams.
  • Driving projects with the City’s data science team to maximise the use of AI, machine learning and data analytics to achieve production targets as dictated to by the SDBIP objectives.
  • Supervision of production teams to ensure staff are managed and motivated in accordance with the department’s strategic and operational plan.
  • Engaging with customers so as to achieve the City’s service delivery objectives.
  • Identifying, initiating and managing project to improve process efficiency and maximize the City’s income streams

Grant Compliance Administrator

Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Up to 5 years’ experience with conditional grants, agreements, contracts and/ or compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • The post preferably requires the incumbent to have some legal or regulatory background to support the analysis of contracts and agreements.

Salary: Basic Salary: R 422 662.00

Key Performance Areas

  • Provides support to the Head: Grant Compliance in respect of regulatory and legislative compliance matters, specifically relating to grant agreements.
  • Assists with administration and legal vetting of grant agreements.
  • Conducts compliance reviews of draft grant agreements/ contracts.
  • Administer all grant agreements/ contracts in a manner that complies with applicable legislation, regulations and policies.
  • Sourcing and administration of non-gazetted/ external grants.
  • Submits reports on status of grant agreements and supportive documentation.
  • Coordinates staff and administrative matters to ensure adherence to the relevant City of Cape Town policies.

Building Inspector

Requirements

  • A National N3 Certificate or National Technical Certificate Part 3 (NTC3) in a Built Environment discipline
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ building construction experience
  • Eligibility for registration as a Peace Officer (Law Enforcement Officer)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • A valid Code EB driver’s licence

Salary: Basic Salary: R373 295.00 p.a.

Key Performance Areas

  • Undertake inspectoral duties involved in the building development process
  • Perform site/counter duty
  • Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Perform legal administration

Professional Nurse

Requirements

  • Current registration with the SANC
  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
  • Diplomas/certificates in any of the following as an advantage: Community Nursing Science, Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment and Treatment & Care (Adults and Paediatrics)
    and experience gained within a Primary Healthcare environment
  • Proven counselling skills
  • Valid code EB driver’s licence would be an advantage.

Salary: Basic: R373 295 – R466 602
