Senior Civil Technologist

- B-Tech degree or BSc degree in Civil Engineering (Water or Structural) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in sewer and water bulk supply or building structural-related projects in a consulting engineering environment.
- At least send your portfolio of the three latest projects in a PDF format
- Knowledge of the National Building Regulations
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Caddie
- Site surveying experience will be an advantage.
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional or Candidates will be an advantage.
- Driver’s licence and own car is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice to clients and the project team.
- Meeting with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Engaging with the Conservation Department and other authorities.
- Coordinating information amongst the project team.
- Design and develop designs with the project team.
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and standard drawings.
- Measuring existing structures, quality control and producing as-built drawings.
- Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
- Plan and conduct field surveys to locate new sites and analyse details of project sites.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to legal, safety and health requirements.

- Fixed-term contract period of 24 months.
