The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is a premier science institution that conducts research with partners, develops human capital and foster innovation in support of the agricultural sector. It

technology development, agrochemical evaluation, consultation and advisory services, food
processing technology services as well as various surveys and training interventions. Through its
wider network of research institutes and experimental farms, the ARC provides a strong scientific base and a broadly distributed technology transfer capacity to the entire agricultural industry in South Africa.
The ARC-Grain Crops (ARC-GC) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person
to the following position at Potchefstroom.
SENIOR STORES CLERK: SCM
Key Performance Areas:
- Report to the Supply Chain Accountant.
- Receive goods and Generate goods receipt notes.
- Issue goods to end-users.
- Follow up on outstanding deliveries and close purchase orders.
- Match delivery notes, purchase orders and invoices.
- Submit documents to Finance.
- Conduct stock take and Issue stock.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of stock.
- Post journals.
- Oversee disposal of stock and assets
Requirements:
- Three year National Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
- 2 years relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
