Job Purpose
The Western Cape Government invites unemployed South African graduates residing in the Western Cape to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme for 2024/2025. This is a Youth Development Programme that provides successful interns the opportunity to gain valuable practical work experience for a period of 3-24 months.

The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has opportunities for two (2) suitably qualified and competent individuals to analyse, construct and develop programs in accordance with program specifications and provide analysis of proposed systems. These posts are based in Cape Town, CBD.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years experience in software development and analysis.
Recommendation
Experience in the following: Software Development (SDLC) – Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX and Oracle Reports; Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Power BI; JavaScript; Systems Analysis and Design principles (SDLC); Web Development experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving license.Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply.

Plans, organises and controls activities of staff responsible for the development of program application and the analysis of systems; Ensure competency of subordinates through training; Systems analysis: Develops functional and technical specifications to meet the business needs of the client; Software development: Constructs and implements application programs; Quality control: Ensures technical and functional standards are observed;Prepares system documentation including training manuals; Liaison with clients.

Remuneration
