Human Resources Generalist
The incumbent must provide a broad range of HR-related responsibilities to the
unit and the entire organisation. The candidate will be mostly responsible for
recruitment, performance management, report writing, leave management and
payroll administration.
To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator with strong
attention to detail coupled with knowledge of human resources policies and
procedures.
Additional role requirements are.
The individual will support the Interim Chief Executive Officer in conjunction with
the NAC’s staff members through the following tasks:
- Provide strategic support to line managers and employees on all HR-related
practices, processes, and procedures. - Administer the recruitment process according to the NAC’s Recruitment and
Staff Progression Policy to ensure that competent candidates are recruited
as and when required. - Interpret HR data and provide analysis that is relevant and meaningful to
the NAC. - The candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in HR
administration and payroll in the public and private sectors in South Africa. - The candidate must have Knowledge of all SA labour legislations.
- Solid knowledge of HR systems (SAGE HR Premier will be an added
advantage) The candidate will also be required to conduct background and
qualification checks and employee leave management on the HR ESS
system. - Ability to work long hours as and when required
Minimum education requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or
related field.
Required experience.
- 6-10 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
- 6-10 years’ experience in both the public and/or private sector.
