Duties & ResponsibilitiesTake daily stock and health check of all fleet parked for sales at all the depots.Record all new vehicles delivered to a Unitrans operation.Identify all vehicles on the disposal list weekly from the Head of FleetPerforms reconciliation between Disposal list and Assets physically parked and not utilised.Assist buyers to view vehicles from disposal list.Assist remote customers with details and photos of vehicles on the disposal list.Work closely with workshops and contracts to ensure sold assets are ready to collect.Ensure vehicle prep once vehicles are sold – deinstallations and debranding etc.Arrange with service providers for access to vehicles.Request and process PO’s on Uniflow and send them to suppliers.Follow up on Invoices and issue to accounts for processing.Assist accounts at month end to transfer relative costs.Assist accounts with flash and 4b entries.Assist buyers collecting vehicles sold.Monitor license schedules and ensure COF’s are done on time and licenses renewed.Ensure vehicles parked for disposal are clean, neat, and presentable.Control fleet parking to ensure ease of vehicle movement.Ensure parking site is neat and clean – arrange for grass to be cut etcLiaise with potential rental clients.Compile detailed rental list if vehicles are being rentedDraw up Rental revenue schedules and share with accounts departments for invoicing.Ensure rental agreements are in place and current.Draw up new agreements if necessary.Issue invoices to rental customers and follow up for payment.Inspect all vehicles before and after rentals and ensure all related costs are billed to the rental customer.Have full visibility of all fleet regarding ODO’s, locations, etc.Control exit of all sold or transferred vehicles.Ensure these vehicles are transferred/removed from FAR once completed.Monitor and control FAR and all related costs of vehicles on FAR
