PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE
Description
- Performs Assembly Operations which Includes Fitting and adjusting.
- Initiate Action to Ensure Product Quality under All Circumstances during Production Process.
- Adherence to the 5s requirements.
- Perform All Function as Laid Down in the Operation Instructions.
- Identify Safety, Health and Environment related hazards within his area end report the hazards to either his Team Leader or Health & Safety rep.
- Adhere to the required PPE (personal protective equipment).
- Maintain a clean and pollution free environment.
- Report all incidents to the Emergency number X3003 or Process Leader.
- Adhere to the South African legal requirements in terms of Environment and Safety & Health, as communicated by the Team Leader.
- Adhere to the CHI (Chemical Handling Instructions) when using Chemicals.
- Operate all equipment safely.
- Responsible for separating waste.
Qualifications
- Matric with Maths and Science or equivalent N3.
- Technical N4 Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent will be an added advantage.

SENIOR ARTISAN
As a Senior Artisan, you will be responsible for:
- Maintain PC and PLC based control systems and networks in good and safe working order so that its designed reliability and availability are achieved
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and networks in good and safe working order so that its designed reliability and availability are achieved
- Re-commission, configure, and optimize PC and PLC based control systems and networks when equipment breakdowns occur to minimize plant downtime

- To analyze the causes of equipment failure and implement required hardware and software changes to prevent reoccurrence

- Updating and reviewing of maintenance records, drawings, application changes, sequence changes, and general documentation
- To ensure that all work is performed competently and in accordance with BMW specifications, OHS Act. Regulations

In the absence of the Planner, the Snr Artisan would be required to perform the below duties:
- Creation of the necessary Notifications and Work Orders in SAP
- Planning the Work Orders, including all resource planning and the ordering of stock and non-stock materials and services
- Releasing and issuing of due Work orders from SAP to the other artisans
- Capturing of historical job information into SAP
- Ordering of other Materials and Services required by his department albeit, not for a maintenance job
- Provide SAP System support for any other users in his area

- 2-3 years experience in maintenance as a Artisan in an assembly environment preferably in the motor industry.

ARTISAN: AUTO ELECTRICIAN
The successful candidate will be responsible to perform the necessary repairs to vehicles as assigned by the Rework Planner with the procedures of the area.
You would be responsible to perform the necessary repairs to vehicles as assigned by the Rework Planner.
This position would require you to check that defects are correctly captured in IPSQ, diagnose root causes of defects, and to reserve vehicles on the F1F2 system, prior to rework commencing.
You would be required to request spare parts (via the DS&R) process, release the defect/rework in IPSQ, and provide an accurate description of operations performed.
Final testing to be performed, which will include the release of the retest block on IPSQ.
Qualifications
Minimum N4
Must have Trade test Auto Electrician or Mechanic.
Minimum 1 year experience as a qualified Artisan with BMW systems knowledge.
Sound Knowledge of ISTA, INPA and Cascade test systems
MS Excel skill.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
FAIS AND MARKET CONDUCT SPECIALIST
Contribute to the overall compliance risk management and governance for BMW Financial Services, specifically in relation to Market Conduct and FAIS:
- Implementation of compliance risk management and governance processes within the organisation as required for an FSP.
- Monitoring of compliance to FSCA relevant standards as issued from time to time, including current and future legislative requirements for the FSP.
- FSCA – administrative and compliance adherence to current and future applicable regulatory requirements which impact the business of BMW Financial Services, including any codes of conduct and future CBR reporting.
- Management of FAIS /TCF / Market Conduct related customer and regulatory complaints.
- Stay abreast of, assess, inform and report on regulatory changes impacting our FSP license.
- Responsible to develop and maintain regulatory relationship with Supervisory bodies, as may be required.
- Assistance in maintaining CPD points of Representatives and Key Individuals.
- Provide guidance and advice to Representatives and Key Individuals regarding any FSP regulatory and conduct topics.
- Review and resolve Fit and Proper queries
Enhance and further refine the Conduct Risk framework, including the development and refinement of new KPI’s and refine of the Conduct Risk Dashboard. - Further develop the Internal Control systems (ICS) to ensure business compliance.
- Drive automation / efficiencies / process optimization across FAIS and market conduct impacted business departments
- Conduct regular training and awareness in areas of interest for the organisation and to legislative requirements.
- Review and maintain Conduct Risk Framework and relevant policies.
Qualifications – External
- Required – LLB/BCOM/Risk Management Degree.
- Must meet the requirements to be registered as a FAIS compliance officer
- Preferably a member of CISA.
- Must have:
- RE 1 beneficial, RE5 advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of the FAIS and Market Conduct.
- Solid track record (5 years+) operating as a FAIS compliance officer
- Desired:
- a general understanding of the motor vehicle finance industry.

- Exposure to a cell captive environment is ideal
