Job PurposeTo provide a communication liaison service between the community and the project manager on all technical and social issues.
Key Responsibility AreasFacilitates communication between the community and project manager.Undertakes initial base line registers of project beneficiaries and conducts community demographic surveys.Oversees contractual obligations between the contractor and beneficiary.Assists in the negotiation and implementation of an allocations policy for projects.Assists in all negotiations and the implementation of the relocation of communities affected by the project.Provides support to the Project Manager to verify work completed and payment claim certificates of the housing contractor, identify potential conflict within projects between external communities and housing contractors and mediate such conflict situations.Facilitate the establishment of social compacts, discussions on housing typologies, broad based costings, committee development workshops for communities regarding the housing development process and community dynamics.
