OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing database systems to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and security of data for seamless organizational operations.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Database Administrator will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance to support the organization’s operational needs and strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to meet organizational needs, including data modeling, schema design, and capacity planning.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements by implementing access controls, encryption, and regular audits.
- Monitoring database performance and optimizing queries, indexes, and configurations for efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Planning and executing database backups, disaster recovery procedures, and high availability solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Creating and managing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to facilitate seamless data integration, transformation, and migration between various systems
and databases, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the organization’s data ecosystem. - Collaborating with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot database issues and support application development and
deployment. - Providing technical guidance and training to colleagues on database best practices, performance tuning, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Evaluating and recommending new database technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance system performance and scalability.
- Documenting database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain system knowledge and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest database technologies and trends.
- Research and evaluate new data solutions and tools to improve efficiency and capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Information Technology
- Honors Degree is advantageous
- Industry Certification in Data Administration
- Minimum 10 years working experience with 5 years as a Database
Administrator for a medium to large company. - Strong understanding of data concepts and principles.
- Good understanding of Agile methodology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in MS SQL Server

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the Corporate Administration Manager role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of various administrative functions essential for the Group’s
success. By overseeing the management of the business centre, maintaining high standards of office cleanliness and hygiene, managing the corporate fleet, and coordinating
corporate functions, the Corporate Administration Manager contributes directly to the Group’s overall productivity, employee well-being, and brand reputation.
The role aims to optimise resources, mitigate risks, and enhance the working environment to support the organisation’s strategic objectives. Additionally, the Corporate
Administration Manager is critical in fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and
driving continuous improvement in administrative processes. Overall, the job is to provide effective leadership and management in corporate administration, facilitating the smooth
functioning of the company and contributing to its long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the Business Centre
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business centre, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient service delivery.
- Coordinate with facility management to maintain a professional and conducive environment for employees and visitors.
- Manage bookings, scheduling, and allocation of resources within the business centre.
- Office Cleaning and Hygiene
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the office premises.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases.
- Supervise cleaning staff or contractors, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Corporate Fleet Management:
- Manage the organisation’s fleet of vehicles, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the safe and efficient use of corporate vehicles.
- Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilisation, and maintenance records to optimise fleet performance and cost-effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
