The primary objective of the role is to ensure that all manufacturing equipment is serviced and maintained according to specifications and in line with good engineering practices. Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdhere to preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance requirements. Proactively raise and address maintenance concerns within area of responsibility.Be able to comply with Food safety standards, and previous FMCG experience will be an advantage.Diagnose and correct mechanical problems.Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.Record maintenance and repair work performed.Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machineryDirect and train workers to install, maintain, mechanical equipment.Assemble, install and / or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and waterlines.Doing fault finding on mechanical equipment.Ensure all routine inspections are carried out daily.Adhoc assistance as required.
