Job Description | Coca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Cold Drinks Equipment (CDE) Manager. As a CDE Manager, you will report directly to the Logistics Director. KEY PURPOSE STATEMENTThe primary role of the CDE Manager is to lead, develop, advise on, and support the successful implementation of the CDE strategy, business plan, and initiatives, so that the Company complies with the strategic priorities of long-term growth opportunities, leveraging scale and building fundamental processes, systems, and people capabilities. |
Key Duties & Responsibilities | • Develop and deliver an effective CDE strategy and business plan based on research, benchmarking, analysis, insight, and logistics expertise. • Monitor CDE utilization and provide advice on appropriate action to improve this. • Monitor market conditions and develop and implement appropriate initiatives to ensure optimization of cooler management. • Manage and control outsourced CDE services and contracts. • Ensure optimal CDE Management system functioning. • Ensure optimal CDE Management processes, practices, and policies are in place. • Research and develop specifications and guidelines for new cooler acquisitions. • Ensure the optimal process for the acquisition and disposal of CDE, in consultation with the logistics. • Ensure optimal cold drink equipment deployment, placement, and availability. • Monitor and manage |
Skills, Experience & Education | Qualifications • Minimum requirement: Bachelor of Science in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering , Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive and Power Engineering, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Added advantage: Advanced knowledge and understanding of FMCG logistics and Cooler management systems and processes. Experience • 5 years experience in cooler repairs and management • Added Advantage: 3 years experience at a Managerial level |

As a Fleet Fuel Clerk, you will report directly to the Fleet and CDE Planner.KEY PURPOSE STATEMENTTo professionally manage the issuance of fuel to the Company’s Fleet and cleanness of the fuel pump to the agreed parameters, so that the company complies with all statutory requirements as well as to ensure that the company is cost effective in its product distribution from a fleet point of view. |
Key Duties & Responsibilities | • Supervise fuel delivery at the facility ensuring truck seals are intact, fuel type and contracted amount is correct before unloading. • Check facility fuel tanks prior to and post offloading of new delivery to confirm ordered quantity corresponds to order and delivery note. • Ensure delivery vehicle is emptied fully before departing. • Ensure daily fuel quantity checks and record keeping. • Ensure full compliance of operational activities with CCBU rules, regulations, policies and strategies. • Input to the elaboration of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in operations, in consultation with the direct supervisor and office Management. • Operate a fuel pump and fill vehicle’s tanks with diesel to a specific quantity. • Ensure safety and cleanness of the fuel dispensing pump. • Provide accountability of all transactions to and from the fuel tank. |

Job Description | Coca – Cola Beverages Africa has an exciting vacancy of CDE Technician at one of our Mozambique Bottlers –Nampula Plant, leading producer of various flavors in Mozambique. The incumbent candidate will be responsible to ensure safe and uninterrupted operation of refrigeration equipment through regular planned equipment maintenance and ensure coolers are kept in good working order. |
Key Duties & Responsibilities | Planned maintenance activities: Understand how refrigeration systems work;Diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment;Reading plans and electrical and electronic schematics;Understand electrical and hydraulic concepts, operating tools, gauges and other test equipment for refrigeration systems;Updating systems to meet new regulations or meet new standards;Perform routine checklist and report all abnormalities to refrigerator planner/controller;Maintenance and repairs carried out according to the service order;Meet all quality requirements;Information collected, documented and feedback provided to relevant customers;All relevant information obtained to carry out the activities – eg. drawings, manufacturer’s manual, etc;Perform Glacier Maintenance: Execution of the Maintenance Plan;Regular maintenance of coolers to ensure high reliability and maximum uptime; Ensure good organization of the workshop for cleaning (5S Principles) and a safe working environment;Repair of malfunctions and troubleshooting of malfunctions;Ensure all malfunctions are investigated and the 5WHY process is followed.Carrying out focused improvements: Avoids waste and reduces the time to find tools and spare parts; Reduce breakdowns through preventive maintenance practices and make improvements to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment uptime. |
Skills, Experience & Education | National Diploma in Refrigeration or related fields.3 to 5 years of experience as Technician of Refrigeration /Cold System.Experience in commercial refrigeration equipment will be an advantage.Technical experience in FMCG business it’s advantageous.Strong track record of delivering results in Logistics role and understanding of Supply Chain Way.Computer knowledge: MS Office packages.Possess Heavy or Professional Driving License.Proficiency on English and Portuguese language. |
