This position will have 3 main responsibilities:
- To coordinate and oversee all Sales related Trade Marketing activities and related functions by providing creative, practical and market focused events solutions and trade activations. The job outputs include the development of brand equity and awareness, volume and profitability growth whilst also developing the team and in-country business.
- Support new business development and existing Customers. Evaluation of new Markets and Customers to plan Market entry.
- Create and optimise commercial plans, including deployment of POC material and benchmarking best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Macro assessment of new markets and maintenance of the RTM Scorecard
- Evaluation of potential Partners
- Landing sales operations and develop distributor partner route to market, short term and long term
- Assess and deploy with partners adequate sales force structure.
- Progress with order generation and order fulfilment initiatives / tracking
- Drive buyers, availability of our portfolio, and distribution in the right places
- Implement performance and reward metrics for distributors and sales team
- Support with business intelligence, sales automation, key account management, and negotiation tactics where applicable
- Drive sales force capability and implement sales driver metrics
- Coordination with zone HE/Premium teams and with other countries to guarantee tool kit execution in trade to execute efficient world class execution
- Coordinate and own commercial calendars and S&M management
- Guarantee S&M effectiveness and ROI, guardian commercial losses
- Drive brand power through salience and effective trade programs
- Benchmark Africa ABI trade execution and tailor execution
- Control and execute shopping cart for operations (POSM)
Profile:
- Commercial experience in Sales and/ or Trade Marketing
- Strong understanding of financial return metrics
- Ability to work cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of levers to build Brands
- French speaking
- Problem solving skills
- Proactive
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field (3 Years or more in similar role)

The key purpose of this role is to grow and develop two business lines:
- Licensed beer subject to royalties and;
- Export customers
The individual will work with AB InBev’s partners across central, west, northern, and eastern Africa to identify opportunities for our portfolio, negotiate contracts, create commercial plans, and track the health of our brands. Successful candidates will be self-starters determined to achieve great results and grow personally.
Key outputs and responsibilities:
- Establish monthly routine with existing license customers (S&OP and commercial)
- Maintain, update, and negotiate existing license contracts
- Active business development to identify and act upon new potential cross-brew/license and export opportunities
- Support financial, operational, and other functional due diligence of new license customers
- Identify opportunities to fill sourcing gaps and realize synergies across ABI and partner asset base in Africa
- Coordinate with RTM & TM, zone HE/premium teams, and license partners to ensure proper positioning and execution
- Implement performance and reward metrics for distributors and sales team
- Actively manage existing export customers and establish weekly, monthly, or quarterly routines (S&OP and commercial)
- Maintain database of customers and markets for pre-seed, expansion, and license opportunities
- Maintain end-to-end tracking process for indirect customers
- Control accounts receivable and collaborate with PPM and credit team to mitigate credit risk
- Guarantee S&M effectiveness and ROI, guardian commercial losses
- Regularly evaluate and execute price increases as well as MACO improvement initiatives in collaboration with supply & logistics manager and PPM
- Collaborate with PPM, supply & logistics manager, and back-office to streamline logistics
- Coordinate with PPM to ensure financial accuracy in SAP, COGNOS, and partner financials
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field (3 Years or more in similar role)
- Commercial experience in Sales and/ or Trade Marketing
- Strong understanding of financial return metrics
- Ability to work cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of levers to build Brands
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- French proficiency is a bonus, but not required

The Keypurposeof this role is to be able to act as the face and voice of our amazing brands and manage all community communications in a professional, fast-paced and engaging manner.

- Drive engagement and conversations with the community that are conversationally led, relevant and ‘real-time’
- Respond to customers in a timely manner based on set KPI’s
- Monitor, respond, track and report on feedback and online reviews
- Identifying tactical and relevant opportunities to engage with the community daily
- Maintain the highest editorial standards for all copy and responses and ensure that it conforms to the evolving brand voice within the social playbook
- Consistently find new ways to creatively engage with our communities by identifying opportunities that are in line with brand tones
- Build strong relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists
- Stay up-to date with digital technology trends
- Assist with Always On and Cultural Calendar Creation when required

Profile:
Education:
- Matric
- Higher Certificate/Diploma or relevant tertiary qualifications / certifications
- BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
Experience:
- 3 + years in community management
- Live event coverage experience
- High understanding of social media and the platforms
- Proven work experience as a Community Manager or very similar role
- Experience with planning and leading community initiatives
- Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs. Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
- Knowledge of online marketing
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
