JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:
To manage the Mobile Financial Services commercial relationships with all third parties which includes the project management of the ECW/partner daily settlement files through Globalscape into the Money Map vendor reconciliation tool. The manager will be responsible for controlling the end-to-end settlement process, ECW configgurations and payments to third parties as well as revenue share agreement adherence and partner invoicing. All these duties are to be executed within budgetary constraints through continuous improvement and the coordination of available resources to best achieve organisational goals.

Revenue Share Agreement Management and Partner Invoicing
• Be aware and up to date with the MFS product & development Division Roadmap and proactively prepare for the financial accounting ofall transactions with MTN Finance and as per current policy
• Play a big part in negotiating the best commercial offering for MTN with all third parties
• Ensure best gross margin, free cash flow and longest duration possible for third party funds to remain in MoMo ecosystem
• Engage with MFS Legal to ensure that all financial terms and conditions are captured accurately in the final supplier agreements with the best commercial terms for MTN MFS
• End to end management of all financial terms in third party agreements leading to payment/invoices to third party (Account payable / accounts receivable)
• Best effort to be made in 3PP negotiations to always retain funds and settle within MoMo ecosystem. Only if all else fail should MFS settle outside of MoMo by way of bank accounts outside of MoMo.

Reconciliation of accounts
• Initial Chart of Accounts mapping project from ECW to MTN SA Financial system
• Reconcile the Mobile Money Chart of Accounts (CoA) on daily, weekly monthly basis
• Ensure daily reconciliation of Main Mobile Money Bank Trust accounts with Mobile Money e-money control account in ECW
Payments and e-cash management
• Prepare cheque and Electronic Funds Transfer payments for authorization for timely payment of vendors. Vendors not on Mobile Money.
• Daily e-money settlement with Mobile Money 3rd parties, in other words: Easypay bill payments
• Daily e-money settlement with Mobile Money 3rd parties, in other words: International Remittance Partners
• Reconcile e-cash, control and bank accounts to the General Ledger
• Prepare journal input documentation for MTN SA Finance to process journals into the General Ledger
• Compile balances and payments schedule (to assist in the management of e-money cash flow)
• Sweep and transfer funds between Mobile Money revenue or fees accounts, commission accounts and control accounts
Process and Procedure Effectiveness
• Improve methods of carrying out work through on-the-job concrete experience
• Ensure that workflow continues without interruption
Reporting
• Compile all information from MFS Group to compile regular reviews
• Research and workshop of all drivers & assumptions (customer registration, transaction volume etc.)
• Assist with Mobile Money Regulatory reporting
• Manage SLA with all third parties
• Prepare relevant information and data for reporting purposes, e.g. KPI reports
• Compile monthly third-party settlement reports and presentations
• Compile and prepare reports without compromising quality and accuracy.
• Ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
Third-Party Operations & Settlements
• End to end project management of 3PP implementation, IS deployment and testing of settlement requirements
• Ensure ECW (Erisccon) has configured the MoMo platform as per legal agreement with realtime automated revenue share as far as possible
• Ensure IS has included the settlement file requiements of both ECW and 3PP to be delivered daily to EVA via Globalscape
• Ensure development of files have been performed and tested by the Money Map resources and toll so that daily transactional reconciliations can be performed by toll from day 1
• Ensure that monthly reconciliation files are delivered by 3PP and ECW for calculating monthly revenue and cost for accounting purposes
• Configure ECW and 3PP MoMo accounts for automated settlement into 3PP bank accounts
• Ensure all FICA documentation of 3PP are stored safely for compliance and audit trial
Quality Management
• Work consistently according to standards of accuracy, deadlines and formats

The Digital Platform Technology Specialist is a Technical lead who is responsible for a set of Digital Platforms that supports MTN’s Digital Products and Services. This role manages the architectural and design decisions that requires to be implemented with each initiative within the team. The Specialist is an executor as well as the subject matter expert on the deep technical details of each implementation/ initiative as per the agreed technical solution. The Senior Consultant Programme Management MUNA is responsible for the implementation of the Core modernization projects across all OPCOs ; ensuring that these projects are well coordinated with all requisite resources availed timely and projects delivered to specifications; on time; on budget and to the internal customer‘s expectations and satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Consultant will be accountable (in accordance with sound project management principles and guidelines) to achieve the following objectives:
- Resolve all technical challenges as part of the scope and develop an integrated plan for cut overs
- Manage escalations up to executive level timeously
- Effectively manage the vendors to meet roadmap commitments and timelines
- Ensures the delivery of projects (within the programme) according to project scope while effectively managing resources, time and budget.

• Prepare all commission payment packs made to trade customers in accordance with the agreement

The Auditor: Technology role is responsible to achieve the following objectives:
Audit Management
- Assist the Senior Manager in the execution of technology systems and processes audit plans, to identify risks and vulnerabilities in control areas and to ensure that processes and systems comply with company policies, and statutory and regulatory policies.

- Recommend changes to IT systems and processes, based on internal policies, best practice and continuous change in available technologies.
- Provide recommendations on improvements to ensure an increasingly robust internal audit processes, which aims to reduce technology and information security risks.
- Carry out regular, comprehensive and holistic information security and IT systems control assessments, to identify risks and areas that need focus.
- Keep up to date with new technology solutions to mitigate/change IT systems security vulnerabilities and provides reporting on these solutions.

Education:

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Deliverables
• An understanding of Leases and all associated charges
• Drive the loading of Revenue Leases and processing of invoices
• Reviewing the revenue recovery recons (revenue recoveries / revenue share)
• Liaising with AP Team regarding creditors amounts due (if amount is due from suppliers) – Revenue recoveries and revenue share
• Preparation of balance sheet recons
• Month end variance analysis on BRC accounts

JOB DESCRIPTION
Operational Planning
• Liaising with relevant areas when necessary to ensure delivery of required solutions, customer experience and SLAs. Initiate corrective actions where applicable.
• Manage daily activities and bill run tasks to ensure the bill run deadlines are met.
Ensure timeous and accurate bill delivery.
• Ensure MTN SA customers billing data integrity maintained and updated timeously.
Billing Management
• Assist with end-to-end bill runs, including online and mobile platforms and processes.
• Manage and control the end-to-end billing process – account management, and query resolution.
• Manage billing queries, ensuring accurate and timeous resolution as per agreed turnaround time to ensure accurate bills.
• Manage the fixes of all system integration failures daily, validating reports to eliminate any failure patterns, initiating incident report with all internal stakeholder and ensure resolution and permanent fix (24hr support to the business in this area).
• Assist with system data clean-up – ensure data integrity compliance with system requirements.
• Provide feedback and input on monthly variance reports
RESPONSIBILITIES
Query Management
• Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis on the Billing Adjustments.
• Investigate and prepare adjustments for review and approval.
• Manage and control the query management logging systems, ensuring that queries logged are actioned and completed within agreed KPIs and ensuring correct query resolution and feedback to initiator (24hr support to the business in this area).
• Prepare account reconciliations for both internal and external customers.
• Attend customer meetings and provide timeous feedback on queries.
• Manage the daily query queues to ensure query resolution within agreed SLA’s/OLA’s.
• Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure root cause of issues are addressed and corrected.
Quality Control
• Following clear and linear procedures of problem solving, monitor system performance through root cause analysis.
• Assist with quality checks on bill run during the billing month to highlight potential problems/errors.
• Perform quality checks on PDF’s generated post bill runs, highlight problems and escalate/resolve if possible.
• Assist with quality checks on data generated during bill run and report to supervisor for authorisation to supplier to commence printing/mailing.
• Assist with quality checks at supplier (printing and mailing) throughout the process to ensure minimum/zero error.
Month End Procedures
• Prepare for review the debtors age for the billing customers with commentary on collection activities.
• Capture/import invoices for the billing area, where applicable.
• Print invoices for authorisation and distribution.
• Prepare/run statements for customers on a monthly basis and save in PDF format.
• Distribute PDF invoices, information exchange (where applicable) and PDF statements based on contractual requirement/operator requirements.
• Prepare and provide the monthly provisions and accruals.
• Ensure all billing transactions have been completed before month end close.
Product and System Changes
• Update and manage packages and system changes as per the business units’ guidelines.
• Liaise with the products and services team to ensure that the configuration of products are in line with the MTN products and services of MTN SA.
• Ensure system update and changes are timeously actioned to ensure accurate billing.
Stakeholder Relationships
• Attend to all vendor and customer queries timeously.
• Ensure customer needs and requirements are satisfied through appropriate systems/processes/procedures.
• Adopt a proactive approach to prevent problems from arising in the future.
• Initiate change to continually improve all aspects of service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Grade 12, 1 year certificate would be an advantage
• Fluent in English and language of country preferable
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in specialisation; with experience in managing stakeholders
• . Experience working in a large organisation
• At least 2 years’ experience in a billing environment, in dynamic and fast-moving industries
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Quality Assurance environment
• Experience in Data Analytics (Advance Excel, Reporting, PowerBI)
