Transnet Freight Rail offers an excellent platform to young; vibrant; enthusiastic students who are between the ages of 18-35 to enter an 18-months work integrated learning/In-service training programme within various functional areas respectively to obtain on-the-job training required by the institution of higher learning to acquire qualifications post theoretical training at the college.

This exciting opportunity is open to all students of Department of Higher Education & Training registered institutions i.e., TVET Colleges and has completed theoretical training at the college. Consideration will be strictly given to applicants in need of in-service training to acquire their qualifications

The following are the required qualifications/Field of study and Depots where the positions are available:
• N6 on Financial Management (Nelspruit).
• N6 on Public Relations, Development or Media Studies, Stakeholder Management, Journalism, Community Development, Graphical Design or Digital Production. (Witbank)
• N6 on Human Resources Management. (Lydenburg)
• N6 on Risk or Safety Management. (Phalaborwa & Polokwane)
• N6 on Fleet Management. (Phalaborwa)
• N6 on Supply Chain Management. (Nelspruit & Witbank)

Applications will be considered only from applicants residing in the following areas/municipalities:

Phalaborwa, Polokwane, Lydenburg, Nelspruit and Witbank.
Proof of residence will be required

The short-listed applicants will undergo a thorough selection process. The candidate should also be prepared to undergo medical and safety behavioural risk assessments as part of the selection process.

• Stamped Confirmation letter for theory completion from Institution.
• Certified copy of South African Identity Document.
• Certified copies of qualifications.
