Primary Duties

To interpret data and give timeous correct advice too operations on process and potable water quality issues and concerns. • In co-operation with Operations ensure that all analysis are accurately executed, of a high quality standard. • Assist Operations in plant/process investigations in solving purification problems which influences water quality and determine reasons for non- compliance. • Ensure the correct chemical dosing rates are used to produce water of good quality at the best available cost. • Ensure that Water Quality Reports compiled are accurate and timeously submitted. • Ensure that all analytical equipment used by Operations is reliable, accurate and available. • By auditing, ensure that all online quality instruments in the online-laboratories produce accurate and reliable data. • Maintain ISO certification according to Rand Water Policies.
