- To attend to production and utilities, mechanical and electrical breakdowns

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Depot Manager to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located at the Goldfields Bread DC and will be reporting to the Sales and Distribution Manager. The role involves managing the sales and distribution functions of a large size operation inclusive of orders, warehousing and fleet management. This also involves developing and maintaining optimum sales and delivery plans, effectively maximizing market share whilst ensuring the availability of products to drive customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following:
- Accountable for the profitable management of a large depot within the constraints of company policy and for determining the most effective use of the resources available to meet the specified distribution and sale targets. Does not include manufacturing.
- Analyze sales forecasts and competitor activities
- Formulate and manage plans, including volume, price, and promotions

EHS Manager: Grains & Fruits, South – Cape Town HQ
What we’re looking for
We are looking for an EHS Manager – Bakeries North to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located at Cape Town HQ (Paarl) and will be reporting to the EHS Director. The purpose of this role is to drive the Environmental Health & Safety performance in terms of culture, EHS standards and compliance across all functions within the assigned division in addition to leading the implementation of EHS systems & programs within the assigned plants within the Grains and Fruit Division: South
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following:
- Lead a team of site EHS Managers, Specialist and/or Coordinators to fully implement PepsiCo EHS Standards across all Plants within the assigned region.
- Attend Bi-weekly EHS and SC Management meetings to address critical areas of EHS performance and drive resolution of action plans.
- Develop & ensure implementation of all the required EHS compliance procedures, work instructions & policies across the assigned region
- Lead roll-out of PepsiCo EHS Best Practices across regional functions
- Lead regional EHS Continuous Improvement versus PepsiCo set of KPIs through conduct performance reviews with EHS management & cross functional management to ensure performance as per AOP targets
- Define & implement EHS planned EHS Inspections across all the EHS levels on regular intervals & report findings on myEHS
- Lead the implementation of PepsiCo Behavior Based Safety program across all region functions
- Lead EHS compliance through regular internal audits and ensuring action plans are monitored & effective corrective actions are implemented
- Work closely with CU Management ensure consistent financial performance versus AOP plan
- Ensure all assigned sites are complying with PepsiCo GEHSMS, ISO 45001, & ISO 14001 international standards.
- Lead the improvement the FM Global Risk Mark score of each site within the assigned region
- Ensure deployment of annual EHS training plan across region training in liaison with the EHS training department to achieve the annual organization training plans
- Report all EHS KPIs monthly on PepsiCo’s MyEHS system for the region & ensure reporting of all incidents & NMs according to PepsiCo EHS incidents reporting standard.
- Effectively facilitate the PepsiCo Multi-certification audit program through external audit team – ERM
Qualifications

- At least 5 Years experience within similar FMCG operations

Responsibilities

Forklift Driver – Kakamas Dried Fruit Plant-ZAF
Responsibilities
- Daily inspections of forklift as well as reporting non conformance
- Safe operating of forklift .
- Offloading of Trucks during intake season
- Supply raw material to Production Lines
- Off loading of trucks transporting products to and from depots
- Correct stacking of product
- Ensuring bins coming over rail from production are put in stacks
- Ensuring safe and correct stacking of empty bins
- Making sure bins going into stacks are clean
- Removing of damaged bins out of stacks
- Loading empty bins sent to intake depots
- Weekly Cleaning of forklift
- Drives forklifts to transport products and equipment.
- The Forklift Driver provide raw material to Pre Clean Production.
- Offloading of truck with product from outside depots.
- Offloading of product from suppliers during intake season.

Additional tasks:
Planning: The Forklift Driver draws up his/her own plan based on information provided by Production Supervisors of both departments.
The machine’s downtime are measured by Overall Efficiency Effectiveness (OEE) system. The Forklift Driver can influence the OEE of the machines, when he fails to supply raw material on time. The Forklift Driver plan and prioritise the machine supplies as per the production plan.Qualifications
- Minimum qualification is a grade 12
- A Valid Forklift licence
- Must pass a medical assessment.
