Risk Management

Fire and explosion protection
- Ensure that these risks are adequately addressed and to monitor audits/surveys/maintenance to ensure that fire and explosion risks are minimised.
- Ensure fire equipment is adequate in relation to the risk, reliable and in a ready to use state. (Both fixed and portable)
- Ensure ASIB certification for Fire pump and sprinkler system and weekly checks, services and maintenance programme is in place. (where installed).
Contractors and General
- Ensure that all contractors undergo site SHE induction and comply with CCBSA internal contractor management requirements.
- Any construction work conforms to the requirements of the Construction Regulations (required SHE plan etc) including Capital projects and Civils etc.
- Develop sound relations with external legal authorities e.g. Dept. of Labour, local police and services, consultants, Insurance Agents and Approved Inspection Authorities, and relevant areas of expertise, to ensure sound corporate risk management practices.
LDPs (Local Distribution Partners)
- The LDP must comply to basic SHE and legal requirements. The Risk Controller in liason with the relevant LDP manager must ensure legal compliance is adhered to by the LDP owner and staff. Regualr audits are required to measure performance.
- As new LDPs are identified, the Risk Controller must conduct security risk assessments, and oversee the installation of the security system. Security must be monitored at regular intervals to ensure the site is adequately coovered to reduce the risk.

Key Purpose: The Control and Automation Technician is required to deliver specialized high-level technical skills to support CCBSA manufacturing operations in Phoenix. This will include debugging and troubleshooting automation control systems and software of PLCs, HMIs, Servo Drive Systems, Industrial Control Networks, VSD, and instrumentation. The Control and Automation Technician must be competent in PLC and HMI software development, to make medium-scale modifications and improvements to the control system. The Control and Automation Technician will assist in creating drawings, including schematics, P&ID, and control panel designs. The C&A Technician will develop calibration procedures for process instruments as well as coach understanding of process controls and the troubleshooting thereof. The C&A Technician needs to have a strong electrical background including Servo and Variable speed drives. The C&A technician will report to the Control and Automation Controller in the Packaging-engineering department and will assist in problem-solving and C&A asset management to enhance operational performance.

- Maintain Plant Standards and Infrastructure.
- Assist with developing adequate procedures/standards for automation, and be the lead to ensure that the plant standards are maintained.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will report directly to the Utilities Manager
KEY PURPOSE STATEMENT
To manage the relevant maintenance systems, generate routine and planned maintenance schedules, support the maintenance team in the
execution of maintenance and facilitate problem-solving so that line availability and efficiency is maximized, breakdowns are minimized, and
manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintain quality of product and process through effective maintenance planning, manage the impact of machine performance on quality, shutdowns, breakdowns & projects
• Implement Engineering Change Management
• Capture data, analyse and generate asset management reports
• Implement EOSH and risk standards to manage ongoing compliance with EOSH and risk standards
• Manage the Maintenance of Spares inventory and Repair, develop and control maintenance cost plans and CAPEX
• Manage the maintenance program & analyse equipment to identify failure causes problem solving and administer gap list
• Guide and manage the team to accelerate team performance and development
• Build positive work relationships through ethical and energising leadership, and collaboration
• Continuous Improvement of the asset care system, engineering processes & ensure correct system utilisation by the team
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications
• Minimum requirement: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical) or equivalent and trade test.
• Added advantage: Computer and technical skills
Experience
• 3 to 5 years production engineering experience with 3 years in supervisory level
• Knowledge of Packaging plant will be an advantage
• PC literate SAP (Proficiency in Microsoft office applications)

Job Description
An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Process Team Leader. The position is structured to report to the respective Unit Manager and will be responsible for ensuring quality products are efficiently produced per plan with optimal utilization of assets and human resources within a defined unit.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operation of designated equipment within the Syrup, Water & waste Water Treatment plant, and Testing Room Facilities.
- Supervise calibration and maintenance program activities for the Syrup, Water & waste Water Treatment plant, and Testing Room Facilities.
- Support the QC clearance processes for raw materials, including sampling, testing, and submission to the onsite Test Room Facility where required.
- Closely supervise the GMP of the plants and syrup and water production volume and quality
- Support greater Quality Team Facilities, functions, and resources where required.
- Ensure sustainability of all initiatives within the defined unit.
- Complied with SHEQ requirements

Skills, Experience & Education
First Degree in Food Process Engineering/Chemical Engineering or related field of studies with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Food Processing
