Main purpose: Provide oversight, independent assurance, advice, strategic guidance and direct the governance of the human capital, social and ethics within the SIU. The focus areas are organisational development practices and social and ethics, which are aligned with King IVTM Good Corporate Governance practices.
Requirements are as follows:
Minimum qualification:
A minimum of an NQF Level 8 relevant degree in Human Resources Management/Law/Corporate Governance/ Risk/Ethics Management or equivalent NQF Level 8 qualification.
Experience Required:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience serving on a Social and Ethics Committee or a relevant committee. Membership to a professional body will be an added advantage including a certification as an Ethics Officer.
Remuneration:
The appointed member will be remunerated as per the Remuneration Framework of the SIU.
