CODE 14 / EC DRIVERS

Requirements:
❖ Valid code 14 (EC) License
❖ Valid PrDP (not expiring within 6 months)
❖ More than 5 years code 14 (EC) driving experience. (Long Distance)

FLEET CONTROLLER

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • The successful candidate must have Grade 12 with 3-5 years’ experience in a Supervisory /
    Managerial role and knowledge of the long-Distance Transport industry.
  • A Relevant tertiary qualification in the logistic field will be an added advantage.
  • Good, interpersonal, leadership, motivation planning, and communicating (verbal & written)
    skills as well as bilingualism will be essential.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Management of the assets and staff under your control and the meeting of objectives set in the
    budget process. Maximum Utilization of Vehicles, planning of loads, routes, fuel, overnight
    locations etc.
  • Service Level Agreements are met between MacDonald’s Transport and its customers.
  • Assets and staff comply with all statutory and legal requirements.
  • Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
  • Ensuring that all equipment / machinery is serviced within the allowed service intervals and
    planned COF’s updated.
  • Maintaining of a high level of discipline, within the operations.
  • Ensuring staff under your control maintain high level of service to customers.
  • Preparation and submission of leave schedules in such a manner as to not effect customer
    requirements.
  • Administrative duties and Document control. Solving of queries and problem solving
  • Management of Drive-Cam as well as Tracking reports.
  • Deadline Driven
  • Submission of Monthly Management reports
  • Must be willing to work Long hours and on Weekend if and when required.

INTERNAL AUDITOR WAREHOUSE

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • The ideal candidate must be accurate, systems orientated and have good analytical skills, able to
    work with figures and have obtained a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • A Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in a similar position and completed articles.
  • The Candidate must also have excellent organizational, analytical and numerical skills.
  • With outstanding interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills.
  • Be a good communicator (verbal and written), with knowledge of the Health and Safety
    requirements, computer literate and knowledge of working time legislation.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Familiarity with and a sound operating knowledge of warehousing processes is a requirement.
  • Experience in the auditing and verification of warehousing operations with specific focus on
    inventory control, documentation, cycle counts, stock integrity and the operation and
    triangulation of weighbridges.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Carry out risk based internal audit plan.
  • Internal audit projects: System audits and recommendations for improvements
  • Reporting on findings
  • Weekly audit reports to management on findings and immediate action
  • Identify business risk, audit reporting on findings to management. Recommendations for
    practical and workable solutions to management
  • Investigate possible financial and system fraud, identify material risk and report to
    management.
  • Handling of monthly risk committee meetings and minutes keeping of these meetings.
  • Visits to all external depots
  • System investigation, walk-through tests and report on findings for any possible risk and
    improvements
  • Investigate recommendations accepted by management for implementation and report to
    management on findings.
  • Weekly report to Head of Internal audit

JNR ASSISTANT: MARKETING

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Grade 12.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification.
  • Friendly and service orientated.

Administrator: Drive Cam

Qualification:

  • Min 3 years Transport experience in the Heavy vehicle industry with multiple commodities and
    vehicle types.
  • Min 2 years DriveCam coach/administrator experience
  • Strong HR/IR skills.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency.
  • Road Transport Management Certificate/Diploma will be an advantage.
  • Risk Management, Identification and analyses exposure will be essential.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Overseeing all DriveCam Events.
  • Ensuring all Events are checked, monitored, and resolved.
  • Weekly and Monthly reports to management.
  • Overseeing/implementing the DriveCam Procedures and Policies.
  • Identifying Risks, analyzing and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring all DriveCam units are in good working order and min of 99% uptime is kept.
  • Liaising with suppliers and ensuring proper management of maintenance agreements of the
    units.

JUNIOR MARKETER

  • Full Pastel accounting function up to trail balance.

  • Reconciliation of loan accounts.
  • Ensure that payments of all municipal accounts are made accurately and timeously.
  • Monthly rental invoices and follow up on outstanding amounts.
  • Responsible for completion and reconciling of vat returns.
  • Composition of audit files.

JOB PURPOSE:
To Market and sell warehousing services through a service to sell approach. To maintain our customer

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
The ideal Candidate must be, friendly and service orientated.
Grade 12 a relevant tertiary qualification.
Advanced Computer literacy with strong Excell skills.
Three years relevant experience in a similar role in Warehouse environment.
Fluency in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written) will be an advantage.
