About the Position

SARS is looking for energetic, results oriented, self-driven individuals to add value and improve the SARS operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of the Compliance Audit.  The successful candidates will need to take responsibility for the planning of their time and work, executing the work in the Compliance/limited scope Audit space to meet the set targets and goals.  The position is offered on a short-term contractending 31 March 2025.

Job Purpose

To conduct standard limited scope audits or verification on a risk profile basis to ensure compliance.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

  • National Diploma Finance/ Accounting/ Taxation/ Auditing (NQF6) and 3-4 years’ experience in Auditing/Finance environment, of which 1-2 years at knowledge worker level.

OR

  • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 6 years’ experience in Auditing/Finance environment, of which 1-2 years at knowledge worker level.

About the Position

The day-to-day operation of the Mainframe environment. Implementation, configuration and maintenance of z15 hardware and z/OS software. The position requires responsibilities that includes R&D, Installations, Third Party zOS product installs and life-cycle management, upgrades, storage management, Disaster Recovery as well as other Business Continuity activities. Interacts with multiple engineering teams as part of the integrated solution the mainframe provides.

About the Position

The incumbent will function on strategic level with regards to extraction, transformation and loading of data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The data replication of information from the various lines of business systems into a normalized warehouse will be a key responsibility and challenge. About the Position

SARS is looking for a highly skilled and experienced, results driven, senior specialist SAP Basis individual with sound judgement and strong business acumen who will contribute towards our higher purpose and service delivery. S/he will need to be an innovative individual, with deep experience in the emerging technologies and a strong future orientation. The individual must be able to install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot SAP systems according to specifications and business requirements.   • Incident Resolution for Severity 1 and 2 issues and assist with Business escalations for issues raised
  • Plan, Design work classes and plan production release deployments
  • Analyse and make recommendations about improvements to specialist systems, procedures and associated area’s practice.
  • Develop a single practice area in alignment with operational activity and procedural frameworks and ensure tactical implementation.
