Job Purpose
Responsible for the overall management of Vulnerable Groups Programmes.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Manages the Vulnerable Groups Programmes.
  • Leads, plans and controls the various administrative functions of the Vulnerable Groups Programmes.
  • Implements all new policies and procedures, circulars including guidelines which impact on the Vulnerable Groups.
  • Oversees the activities of Co-ordinators and the appointed service providers to undertake work for the implementation of such projects.
  • Identifies needs, resources and interventions of the Vulnerable Groups Programmes.
  • Gathers the necessary resources required to deliver the prioritised programmes/projects for the Vulnerable Groups Programmes.
  • Ensures compliance with the National/Provincial/Council Policy requirements by maintaining awareness and knowledge of trends, policies legislation and best practices that can enhance the Branch performance on such programmes/projects for the Vulnerable Group Programmes.
  • Undertakes various special projects/programmes as sanctioned by the Senior Manager (Sectoral Programmes) from time to time.
