Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a passion for client management in the design and build industry? Join an innovative Upmarket Design Company in Johannesburg as a Client Account Executive.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Client Account Executive serves as the primary business contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and overseeing the delivery of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for closing deals, managing an internal project team (6 to 10 people), ensuring project completion within budget, timelines, and scope, and providing clients with a seamless experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and nurture client relationships
• Develop and produce preliminary and final project budgets
• Ensure design team drawings and furniture details are accurate
• Manage procurement and ensure purchase orders are placed
• Lead and coordinate the internal project team
• Oversee financial aspects of the client account
• Supervise site completion and handover to the client
• Administer project timelines and deadlines
• Sales: Apply strong sales skills to close deals and maintain business
• Manage multiple internal teams and ensure tasks are completed

REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience in Account Management, specifically in building and maintaining customer relationships
• 3-5 years of experience in Account/Project Management within Construction, Interior Design, Project Management,

Engineering, or Architectural industries
• Strong sales skills with the ability to conclude deals
• Experience managing timelines and deadlines (formal Project Management certification not required)
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent administrative skills – admin is crucial to success in this role
• Technically competent with excellent negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work after hours and weekends when required
• Capable of managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously with minimal supervision

SALARY & BENEFITS:
• CTC: R50 000 – R70,000 per month – offer depends on your current salary, skill set, qualifications and experience
• Note: No additional benefits are offered; the employee is responsible for medical aid, pension, petrol, cell phone

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
• Reports to: Head of Operations
• Subordinates: Project team
• Liaises with: Clients, Professional Consulting Teams, Design Team, Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, Quantity Surveyors

Position Overview:
One of South Africa’s leading solar energy companies is searching for a highly skilled and driven Technical Manager to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the technical operations of solar PV system installations, programming, testing, and commissioning. The successful candidate will take charge of technical teams, ensure seamless project execution, and uphold compliance with the highest industry standards. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the company’s position as a leader in the renewable energy space by ensuring the optimal performance of solar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inverter & VFD/VSD Inverter Systems:
Oversee the installation, programming, and maintenance of inverters, including VFD/VSD inverters.
Conduct detailed electrical data logging and analysis to ensure system integrity.
Troubleshoot and optimize inverter performance for maximum efficiency.
• Solar PV Systems Management:
Lead the installation, programming, and testing of solar PV systems, ensuring each system is fully operational and compliant with relevant regulations.
Handle the commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring they meet technical and safety standards.
Conduct fault detection and resolution in electrical circuits and communication networks, ensuring long-term system reliability.
• Team Leadership and Development:
Manage, motivate, and mentor a team of installers and technicians, fostering a high-performance culture.
Provide guidance and support to the technical team to ensure ongoing internal development and growth.
• Design and Client Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the PV design team to ensure technical designs are aligned with safety and industry standards.
Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements, offer expert technical advice, and propose tailored solutions.
• Fault Finding and System Troubleshooting:
Partner with the monitoring team to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical faults in electrical systems and communication networks.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Essential Certifications:
A Wireman’s License or Red Seal certification is mandatory.
Valid driver’s license is required.
• Technical Expertise:
Previous experience with inverter programming, including PCL programming, is essential.

xperience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical management role, ideally within the renewable energy sector or a related field.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and leading successful project implementations.
