Job Description
RCL FOODS is seeking an Artisan Electrical for our Pipeline roleto join our Milling Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Engineering Manager. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent who will be responsible for Maintaining all electrical equipment in the PTA Mill.
Minimum Requirements
Trade Test certificate with N3 (minimum)
N4 and above would be an advantage.
Proof of the successful completion of a formal Institutionalised Training Programme is essential.
Flour Milling/ Milling work experience of 5 years and above will be an advantage.
Packing equipment experience such as automated wrappers and palletizers will be advantageous.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Computer Literacy
Experience in MV switching and Protection systems up to 33KV.
Wireman’s Licence (minimum)
Master Installation Electrician (Advantageous)
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintaining all electrical equipment in the PTA Mill.
Basic field/ PLC fault finding.
Maintaining, programming, commissioning, and fault find on VSD – both AC & DC.
Maintaining air-conditioners and Chillers.
Maintenance on Alternators.
Maintenance of Electrical backup systems e.g., UPS, Diesel generators.
Maintenance of LV AC/DC motors.
Installation of new equipment.
Doing fault finding on electrical equipment.
Doing maintenance and construction on MV Systems.
Transformer maintenance.
Ensure all routine inspections are carried out as per schedule.
Power Generation and distribution systems.
Programming and fault finding on Protection.
