Introduction
Monitoring of production process performance and conformity with final product quality. Complete activities in the metallurgical environment to ensure efficient and cost-effective production. Assist in research and development to improve production processes.
Job description
· Monitor and validate production process performance measurements and report the findings to the appropriate stakeholders. Assist in identifying and analysing process constraints and improvement opportunities.
· Obtain, check, and refine information. Collate and submit reports. Run data exception reports and take corrective action. Conduct document control spot-checks.
· Ensure that all production stacking plans meet the metallurgical ore control criteria. Schedule activities according to the operating plan.
· Ensure operational plan is implemented.
· Drive research and development sample methods while clarifying process needs. Assist in research and development as directed by management to improve production processes.
· Analyse production outputs to identify opportunities for process and operational improvement. Facilitate and work with continuous improvement teams on operational projects. Keep up with the latest innovations and technologies. Conduct research, desktop, and feasibility studies to enhance process flow.
· Chemical Assays: Monitor product quality per shaft, do data integrity checks and analysis, and report findings to stakeholders.
· Particle Size Distribution: Conduct screening analyses on all plant products and compile results for quality compliance reporting. Analyse the screening results to report on the screening efficiency of plant equipment.
· Manage and execute processes and procedures that promote effective ore control throughout the value chain.
· Optimise ore flows and product stacking in operational zones.
· Promote and assure adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures. Identify unsafe and hazardous situations. Diagnose incidents and accidents by completing root cause analyses and take corrective action. Conduct risk assessments. Stop work in unsafe areas. Ensure safety programs are executed.
· Comply with disciplinary, regulatory, and behavioural rules and procedures, and ensure compliance within areas of responsibility.
· Ore flow reporting, Compliance to Plan, Production Quality reports and Assurance reports
· Manage appropriate documentation, including change management and record keeping, in compliance with ISO 9001 quality management requirements.

• Ensure to review final recons for payment purposes and resolve and escalate recon issues. Ensure all filing of payments, invoices, reconciliations and that statements. Comply with the following:
• Capture and reconcile credit card payments. Compile monthly control sheet to submit to HOD Finance.
• Reconcile all sundry creditors and large accounts – not reconciled by the creditors clerks.
• Create file of all VAT claimable invoices. Order monthly stock for office requirements.
• Ensure all vendor account reconciliations are performed and reviewed
• Ensure to provide Intercompany invoices not processed
• Maintain and capture the query registers on excel spreadsheet.
• Compile the Creditors review and accruals report.
