Job Description:
This role reports into the Manufacturing Function part of the Products and Services Department.
Based on current and anticipated future workload within the De Beers Technologies, Manufacturing team, a need to employ a young and dynamic mechanical artisan to assist in mechanical assembly of De Beers Technologies products has arisen. Due to the small nature of the manufacturing team, the prospective incumbent may also be required to carry out additional trade related tasks.
The requisite skills sought for this position are the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, then assemble, and integrate mechanical and pneumatic systems and other related activitiesto deliver quality products.
Your role will include:
- Read, interpret, and assemble trade specific items according to design diagrams and drawings,
- Agility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities,
- Perform trade related assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical aspects of equipment and parts according to maintenance requirements,

Job Description:
The Analyst Data Geotechnical is responsible for all geotechnical instrumentation used in the department, as well as to assist the Strata Control Assistants and Strat Control Officers, with daily tasks.
Below are some of the key responsibilities you will be required to execute.
- Prepare and process all underground GPR scans daily.
- Prepare and process graphical representation for Strata Control Officer’s scrutiny and action on the same day.

The Financial Reporting Accountant plays a pivotal role in the reporting of high-quality financial information. The FRA has the ability to monitor and diagnose financial and operational processes that impact financial processes and systems. The FRA is pivotal to:
-The preparation of the annual financial statements required for external reporting

Key Tasks:

- Working with the Financial Controller in formulating adequate procedures and controls to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS
- Input data submissions, ensuring accuracy with all validations cleared and/or understood on primary financial information and all required statutory disclosure notes
- Prepares the reports (BU reporting, preparation of HFM/AFC, first review of tax pack and cash flow) on time and ensures that they contain relevant and accurate information
- Preparation and submission of the Forecast, Business Plan HFM/AFC reporting packs
- Working with the Group Financial Reporting Team, ensuring financial control and governance is maintained including the Compliance Transformation Project (SOX Compliance) for DBCM

Your day-to-day duties will include:

The role of Communications Executive, Venetia Mine will be central in collaborating with the Mine leadership team, employees, contractors and various external stakeholders to implement and oversee communication plans in support of the Group Strategy.
The role will primarily focus on the following key priorities:
Key Tasks
- Develop and implement an integrated communication plan for Venetia Mine that supports the company’s purpose and strategy
- Lead the internal communications element of strategic business improvement initiatives and change management projects
- Support Venetia Leadership Team in executing their communications responsibilities and delivering specific departmental objectives including annual media training
- Drive employee engagement through coordinating quarterly engagement sessions across various workforce levels
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues impacting operations and develop communication interventions as required
- Coordinate crisis communications in line with the Group’s broader crisis management plan
- Lead conceptualising and develop briefing documents for photography/video shoots
