Role Purpose
To be involved in all aspects of actuarial management of a short-term insurer with a focus on pricing and product development, including business intelligence, underwriting and other ad-hoc commercial involvements. This is a technical role with opportunities to develop.

Requirements
Experience and Qualifications

1 – 3 years short-term insurance, with experience in Short-term Insurance pricing, will be preferred.
A degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Sciences or Business Mathematics. Other degrees or postgraduate qualifications with a statistical/modelling aspect and/or experience will be considered.
Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Basic programming skills.

INTERNAL PROCESS

Work with Head of Structuring and Engagement and other stakeholders to develop and embed an engagement and coverage model that speaks to the entire landscape of our business, such as direct, corporate investment consultants and the employee benefits market.
Engage with channels to identify opportunities for sales and to provide relevant sales support.

Role Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong analytical skills to assist in the realization of Business Strategy, through the understanding and clear communication of product requirements to all impacted stakeholders.
