Job Description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Policy, agreements and strategic engagements with Government and SADC partners and identified international organisations.
- Managing key SADC/international co-operative and consultative relationships.
- Developing/managing strategic partnerships to support business development initiatives to strengthen/improve the Agency’s revenue stream.
- Managing key Government co-operative and consultative relationships.
- Reporting.
- General management business processes.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

- Knowledge and understanding of Government and International Relations processes, planning and programmes.
- Knowledge of Cross-Border Road Transport Act and SADC Protocols on Transport, Communication and Meteorology.

Job Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- NQF Level 7 Tertiary qualification in transport related discipline or Commerce or International Relations or Public Administration or equivalent or related qualification.
- Relevant Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum Required Experience:
- Ten (10) years relevant experience, and
- Five (5) years middle management experience.

- Empower the cross-border road transport industry to maximise business opportunities.

- Entrepreneurship and capacity building for SMMEs.
- To promote consultative and strengthening relationships and structures with cross-border operators.
- Facilitate resolution of passenger operators conflict, operator disputes, and operator complaints.
- Provide value added support services to passenger operators such as governance support.
