Overview Data scientist in data and process analytics. This career will enable you to build an in-depth understanding of how businesses function and how to apply key analytical principles to derive valuable business insight from business processes. The programme runs over a period of three years.
Requirements

  • Must be a Namibian Citizen;
  • Persons from previously disadvantaged designated groups are encouraged to apply;
  • Matric exemption with Mathematics and English, obtaining 70% or more;
  • Accounting as a subject will be an advantage;
  • Students must qualify for admission or be registered at a University that is recognised;
  • Studying towards a BCom Degree in Mathematical Science: Data Science, B.Com Informatics/Information Systems Management, B. Eng Industrial, B. Sc Applied Mathematics/Statistics, BSc (Computer Science) Focal Area: Data Science or any relevant qualifications in the data science field;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment;
  • Demonstrating versatility at school will be an added advantage that we would consider as part of our awarding of
    bursaries. Activities may include participation in a sport, occupying a leadership position, participating in a cultural
    extra mural activity, participating in a science fair, participating in a community activity etc.
  • Other requirements include proficiency in English, good communication skills, logical thinking to solve problems,
    working knowledge of technology, good social skills, and be able to work well in a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be subject to a personality/aptitude test and a formal interview

Overview
The PwC forensic audit programme runs over a period of three years. Fraud, corruption and other economic crime, particularly when it concerns senior management, requires a thorough, professional and independent approach. A trainee in our forensic team is to apply knowledge in accounting, auditing, finance, quantitative methods, and certain areas of the law, research and investigative skills, to collect, analyse and evaluate evidential matter and to interpret and communicate findings.

Requirements
We are awarding bursaries to Grade 12 learners who are interested in studying B.Com Honours Forensic Accounting at North-West University, or other recognised Universities with the similar qualification for the Academic Year 2024.

Minimum requirements for your application to be considered:
