About the role
The role will ensure stability and full functionality within area of responsibility, (Payroll and Time). SIT testing of tax updates, patches, bundles, upgrades, with the partnership of the payroll team.
About the role
You will provide operational support to end users to optimize their experience with SAP EC payroll, ensuring smooth functionality and resolving technical payroll issues as they arise. You will be responsible for maintaining the SAP payroll system, ensuring it remains compliant with regulations, operates efficiently, and stays up to date with the latest software developments. Additionally, you will keep abreast of payroll legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Ability configure EC data models, workflows, MDF Alerts & business rules, benefits, time off, document templates and new setups such as wage type configurations
- Understanding of business Human Capital Management processes
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of the payroll integration to SAP S4
- Formal Integration practices
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Systems Analysis Methodologies
- 5-7 years’ experience in SAP and Data Integration in the following areas:
- SAP HCM (PY)
- Integration with S4 FICO modules
- SAP SuccessFactors role-based permissions / authorisations (incl. GRC)
- HCM Master Data
- SAP Workflow
- Understanding of Role based permissions.
Minimum Knowledge:
- Understanding of: SAP SuccessFactors integration with S4Hana

About the role:
As the Team Leader: Platform Engineering Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering resilient, scalable, secure, and high-performing platform infrastructure solutions for Capitec Bank. You will provide technical leadership and best practices to a team of Platform Engineers, design and implement high-quality cloud infrastructure solutions, and establish a roadmap for the Internal Developer Platform. The team has built the internal developer platform for Capitec, and most of the product teams, if not all, are using this development platform to provision infrastructure. This includes teams across the entire organization, such as insurance, business banking, and retail.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – IT Engineering or Information Technology
- At least 5 years in infrastructure, software development, DevOps, including design and implementation of highly available enterprise-scale developer platforms.
- AWS Experience with hands-on troubleshooting experience on AWS platform, and working in a DevOps environment as well as working with Docker containers, with hands-on troubleshooting experience in Docker or Kubernetes
- Microservices and CI/CD: Experience developing and supporting infrastructure for microservices-based architectures and working with CI/CD tools and scripting/provisioning tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- Monitoring and Logging: Experience setting up monitoring and logging tools for infrastructure and microservices.
- Preferred: Experience in financial services or banking, infrastructure security, and working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.

About the role
Deliver functional expertise in SAP MM processes, including configuration, customization, and solution deployment, to meet business requirements. Ensure seamless integration with related modules and external systems and develop automation where required. Leverage SAP solutions to design and optimise business processes. Provide advanced user support, handling 2nd and 3rd level incidents to resolve operational and service-related technical issues as part of business-as-usual activities
Minimum Requirements:
- A relevant degree
- 6-8 years in SAP systems design, analysis, configuration and implementation
- 2-3 years in systems integration design and implementation
- Understanding of Supply Chain processes with a specific focus on Source to contract, Procurement, Logistics and Inventory management.
- Experience in Fiori Functional design and implementation
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration points, and how SAP solutions align with business processes
- Leading of complex SAP project implementations within functional area of expertise would be advantageous
