This position provides for the coordination of the purchasing and procurement activities of the Agency. The incumbents are expected to have had extensive exposure in the procurement processes in the Public Sector and knowledge of the PFMA.
Job Description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Procure goods and services up R1 million
- Evaluate and recommend purchases according to Preferential Procurement Policy Act
- Communicate and interact with end user department in respect of specific requirements and priorities
- Provide administrative support to bid specifications, evaluation and adjudication committees
- Ensure proper and safekeeping of documents
- Receive and verify goods against the purchase order.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- NQF 6 qualification in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Ideal:
- B:Com (Supply Chain Management)
MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 3 years Supply Chain Management experience
