Requirements
ExperienceandQualificationsRequired:
- 10 years relevant Office Automation Technical experience.
- Managerial experience of at least 5 years.
- Nashua business related operations experience will be an advantage.
- Fully compliant in terms of IT Networking with N+ certification.
- Fully compliant in terms of CompTia A+.
- Fully compliant in terms of PDI+.
- Fully Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive timeous execution of effective maintenance strategies i.e. planned, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance.
- Identify maintenance risks on Client’s equipment.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available resources in various maintenance works.
- Ensure timely delivery and appropriateness of parts and spares for effective maintenance execution.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate maintenance work performed by technical staff to ensure quality, cost optimization and timely execution as per SLA, work instructions and Client’s instructions.
- Identify gaps and deficiencies in services, advise and effect solutions as part of Continuous Improvement on services rendered.
- Manage back-to-back CSA agreements with customers.
- Assist in the management of technical projects and provide technical support, where applicable.
- Demonstrate and instil effective adherence to processes on infrastructure maintenance.
- Explore and recommend innovative methods, based on best practices, to bring about cost-effective solutions.
- Assist all technical staff members with problematic equipment in the field.
- Manage and effective Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Assisting the Field Supervisors in all QMS related issues.
- Maintaining the Quality Management Systems policies and procedures of the technical department.
- Maintain the Nashua Partner Program in respect of the technical department.
- Manage operations within allocated budget.
- Manage boot stock and all other parts required on a month-to-month basis.
- Manage technical staff performance and facilitate improvement through regularly monitoring performance and providing required coaching, support, and feedback.
- Manage performance & conflicts within subordinate employees & effect corrective actions, in line with company policies/procedure.
- Ensure adequate staff placement i.e. prepare suitable shift-roster and manage/approve applicable leave for subordinate employees.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all products and technologies through attending training programs and regular review of technical documents.
- Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring & development of all technical staff – KPI requirements.

The position is responsible for the service and maintenance of office automation equipment and service calls with in Nashua Kathu and its service areas.
Requirements

- Prepared to work overtime, attend training sessions over weekends from time to time as well as meetings as and when required.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Service and maintain equipment in the Nashua service base.
- Ensure that Customer downtime is always kept to a minimum.
- Ensure that Customer Uptime and capabilities are at full potential.
- Ensure that service call is always done and completed cost-efficiently.
- Ensure that part, Toner, and other service deliveries reach maximum life expectancy.
- Keep service call-out records up to date by completing all service calls on the workwide app.
- Ensure that preventative maintenance is completed and scheduled as per the requirements.
- Take responsibility for all stock allocated to the technician.
- Ensure that awaiting spares call-outs are done as soon as the part is available.
- To follow the correct procedure when retrieving a call and when a call is completed within the Workwide system.
- Fully install, MFP, (if required) and supply training to the customer on new Products.
- To ensure that the Service Coordinator is given accurate information relating to service calls and installations.
- To complete all necessary paperwork relating to your job and to ensure that it is presented in a decent manner and on time.
- Must be open and willing to be cross trained over all technical lines of business to promote better productivity and to provide assistance if needed.
- To keep the Technical Manager informed on problems relating to your job, either technical or customer, and to maintain an awareness of the customer’s needs.
