JOB PURPOSE:
Performs Labour Relations activities and attends to general procedures and interventions associated with

Manages, co-ordinates and controls the professional and technical processes associated with the
assessment of festival, tent, way leave, borehole applications, building plans, land use, planning and
development applications, the determination of development contributions and the provision of civil
engineering services (water & sanitation, roads & stormwater, waste management, etc.) to internal and
external clients through research and evaluation of best practices and cost effective approaches, provision
of guidance and advice on the formulation of proposals and design concepts and contract and project
management of complex forms of civil engineering works with high impact in order to ensure that broader goals and service delivery objectives are accomplished and quality and professional standards maintained in accordance with agreed timeframes, budgets and appropriate legislation.
