Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to manage the Monitoring and Evaluation processes for Property Management.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3 year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years management level experience in a project management / specialist monitoring and evaluation environment

Key Performance Areas
Assist with / manage the development of Departmental Performance information, policies, frameworks and procedures; Facilitate/ Collate Performance Information Management for Departmental Statutory Reporting (i.e. SP, APP, AR, QPR); Manage Monitoring and Evaluation Projects; Verify and validate Performance Information; People and Financial Management.
Competencies
Knowledge of the following: National, Provincial and Departmental policies, prescripts and practices related to the department; Programme/project management; Research and planning procedures; Public Service reporting procedures; Human Capital Management and Development; Financial Management; Line functions and Departmental structure. Skills needed: Communication (written and verbal); Report writing and formulation; Planning and Organisational; Financial management; Economic, financial analyst; Strategic planning. Ability to interpret and apply policy.
Remuneration
All-inclusive salary package of R 849 706 per annum (Salary Level 11).
Note on remuneration: to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees’ service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to complete a practical assessement and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
