We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Medical Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This is a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our employees by implementing and overseeing our Primary and Occupational Health programs. As an Occupational Medical Practitioner, you will play a key part in developing strategies to promote employee wellness and managing the delivery of health services across our organization.
You will be responsible for the compliance and implementation of all statutory and non-statutory health regulations while supporting the business unit in maintaining the highest standards of workplace health. In this role, you will also carry the legal appointment as the Occupational Medical Practitioner for the Business Unit, with the responsibility of upholding legal and regulatory obligations

Minimum Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Essential/Minimum)
  • Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum)

EXPERIENCE:
8 years Occupational Health Experience within a heavy industry, mining or production environment (Essential/Minimum) Operational

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
  • Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
  • Health Professions Council of SA (Essential/Minimum)
  • Dispensing License (Essential/Minimum)
  • MHS Act Section 13(3)(a)(Occup Med Prac) (Essential/Minimum)
