Receptionist

Our client in the Industrial Equipment Industry is currently looking for a Receptionist, in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

  • All reception services, including greeting guests as they enter the building.
  • Receiving and professionally handling customer calls and enquiries
  • Directing all calls to specific staff based on client specifications.
  • Sorting and filing mail, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Take down and direct messages to the relevant staff if they are not available.
  • Monitoring and scheduling of conference rooms.
  • Maintain business relationships with customers to ensure they are satisfied.
  • Assisting with sundry orders and invoice capturing.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Matric.
  • A relevant Degree will be advantageous.
  • Switchboard experience.
  • Must be fully computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills.

Field Service Technician

Our client in the Commercial and Industrial Cleaning Equipment industry is currently looking for a Field Service Technician, in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

  • Repairing, servicing, and maintaining diesel, gas, and electric cleaning equipment on customer sites and workshop.
  • Complete job cards, quotes, and check sheets
  • Communicate with managers, call centre, and customers
  • Housekeeping, clean-up of all maintenance areas/work areas daily.
  • Assisting with other general maintenance activities.
  • Traveling is required to service and repair on sites.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience with servicing and repairing cleaning equipment.
  • Diesel/Gas and Electrical knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.
  • Completed Diesel/Gas & Electrical Qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Must be able to read and understand schematics.
  • Must be able to communicate with customers at all levels as well as other employees & helpdesk operators.
  • Must adhere to all SHEQ requirements.
  • Must have a good selection of tools (Specialized tools required will be discussed)
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be computer literate (Emails, quotes, and machine updates)
  • Must have a driver’s licence.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

Remuneration:

  • Up to R20 000 per month plus benefits.

Service Administrator

Our client in the Commercial and Industrial Cleaning Equipment industry is currently looking for a Service Administrator, in Johannesburg East, Gauteng.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the workshop administration requirements and providing a support role to technicians, foremen, and the service manager.
  • Focusing on increasing service revenue through both parts sold through the workshop.
  • Receiving and professionally handling customer calls and enquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with operational staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Looking up part numbers for both Bobcat & Sany for technicians to complete quotations accurately and timeously.
  • Responsible for putting together and sending quotations timeously.
  • Following up on all quotations sent and understanding why we are not converting them, should that be the case.
  • Follow up on orders to be amended.
  • Assisting with any parts-related queries like stock shortages, alternative sourcing, etc.
  • Manage an effective document control and filing system for the workshop.
  • Maintain business relationships with customers to ensure they are satisfied.
  • General admin duties.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Must have Matric.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years or more relevant working experience within the Earthmoving Equipment industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Autoline experience would be an advantage.

Service Team Lead

Our client in the Commercial and Industrial Cleaning Equipment industry is currently looking for a Service Team Lead, in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily management & control of workflow to the Service Technicians in the workshop.
  • Conduct on-site quality inspections on serviced/repaired equipment to ensure work meets required standards.
  • Submit monthly quality reports to the Branch Manager.
  • Implement corrective actions for quality non-conformance issues.
  • Identify training needs for Field Service Technicians and coordinate with the Branch Manager for scheduling.
  • Ensure technicians follow service manual guidelines for equipment maintenance.
  • Provide technical assistance to technicians on problematic equipment.
  • Motivate and support Field Service Technicians to meet monthly labour recovery and PM check targets.
  • Work with the Maintenance Contract Controller to allocate PM checks to technicians.
  • Assist Help Desk with daily call allocations and provide progress feedback.
  • Ensure timely completion of quotations and repairs in line with SLAs.
  • Verify the accuracy of job cards and quotes daily.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve field service-related queries and issues.
  • Ensure fault diagnosis and repairs are cost-effective and accurate.
  • Ensure all service work complies with safety standards.
  • Maintain attendance, timekeeping, and daily work planning per company requirements.
  • Support other Service Department and company duties as needed.
  • Comply with the Company Vehicle Policy.

Requirements:

  • A Trade-related qualification.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a Technical Service or field service environment, preferably in industrial or cleaning equipment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of quality control processes and service standards.
  • Ability to identify training needs and support technician development.

Workshop Foreman

Our client in the Industrial Equipment industry is currently looking for a Workshop Foreman,  in Edenvale, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical and diagnostic expertise within the workshop & service department.
  • Advising and directing technicians on best practice methodologies for machine checks, repairs, and servicing as per customer requirements.
  • Managing and controlling the smooth process of all new units ACRs & PDI’s
  • Attending weekly production meeting.
  • Holding toolbox talks with service staff.
  • Keeping service manager & other senior management updated on the Workshop process.
  • Providing instructions on carrying out diagnostic work and supporting technicians.
  • Providing advice and support to technicians on technical matters, as well as ensuring Technicians are completing the required training set out by our OEM.
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis for speedy machine Pre-Delivery Inspections, Load Testing, and servicing.
  • Co-operating in machine care and safety whilst working on machines.
  • SHEQ & ISO responsibilities for the service department, as well as ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
  • Ensuring machines are tested, returned to the customer after service in a neat and clean condition.
  • Ensuring diagnosis leads to the most cost-effective and accurate remedy to the fault or customer complaint.
  • Completing all necessary forms and documentation included in the company’s SOPs
  • Custodian of all machine Service and Parts Manuals.
  • Drafting and preparing any reports required.

Contracts Manager

Our client in the Industrial Equipment industry is currently looking for a Contracts Manager, in Edenvale, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution & Service Management:
  • Oversee dispatch and delivery; resolve issues promptly.
  • Follow up on parts, job card quoting, and technician work quality.
  • Manage SLAs, customer communication, warranties, and feedback processes.
  • Track service metrics, support new client onboarding, and inspect work quality.
  • Ensure pricing competitiveness and market awareness.
  • Liaise with Rental/STR teams and ensure support quality.
  • Resolve on-site issues, manage documentation, and scope changes.
  • Lead major service contracts and attend to standby duties.
  • Staff Leadership & Performance Management:

IT Lecturer

Our client in the Higher Education and Training industry is currently looking for an IT Lecturer, in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities:

  • General:
  • Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
  • Setting and grading assignments, tests, and exams.
  • Attending and participating in meetings, conferences, and other events in and outside of the Institution.

Trainee Accountant

Our client in the Transport and Logistics industry is currently looking for a Trainee Accountant, in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

  • The position entails a 3-year training programme as part of the SAICA TOPP Programme where the aim will be to finally qualify as a CA(SA)
  • The position will involve 3 rotations per year, where 4 months will be spent in a department at a time.
  • Trainees will also be eligible for sufficient study leave when writing their APC exam.
