DESIGNATION Risk Management Intern

JOB PURPOSE
The intern will support the Risk Management function in achieving its objectives by contributing to the execution of planned activities and initiatives.
RISK MANAGEMENT, ETHICS, ANTI-FRAUD AND CORRUPTION
- The intern will assist with research activities and
information gathering related to the risk management
function. - Assist with research and the development or review of
governance documents, frameworks related to risk
management, ethics, and anti-fraud and corruption. - Support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in reviewing and
maintaining risk management governance documents and
frameworks. - Support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in coordinating,
compiling, and monitoring the overall risk management
process, including the maintenance of comprehensive and
up-to-date risk registers, to ensure the effective
identification, assessment, and mitigation of organisational
risks—this includes project-related and fraud risk
assessments. - Support the monitoring and implementation of the
organisation’s Ethics Management programme, including
assisting with ethics awareness initiatives. - Assist in co-ordinating anti-fraud and corruption initiatives,
reports, monitor fraud prevention plan and including
awareness campaigns, training support. - Assist the CRO in preparing and submitting quarterly risk management reports to Management Committees, the
- Risk Management Committee, and the Audit and Risk
- Committee.
- Participate in Risk Workshops/Meetings. Take notes,
assist with coordination, and compile workshop outcomes - Administrative Support. Maintain risk-related records and
files. - Assist to schedule risk assessment meetings or audits

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- NQF Level 6 / National Diploma / Bachelors Degree in
Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Forensic
Accounting and Investigation or equivalent. - No working experience required.

Division Supply Chain Department
Office location Head Office, Pretoria – Arcadia
Role Context Assist Supply Chain Management officials with day-to-day activities
Procurement
- Source quotations from tax compliant service providers
registered on the Central Supplier Database timeously - Compile Request For Quotations comparative schedule and
make recommendations for approval - Generate purchase orders and distribute to suppliers as well as
end users - Ensure and confirm compliance with SCM Prescripts
- Follow up on deliveries with suppliers for outstanding purchase
orders - Facilitate contracts or SLA process for ongoing services
- Ensure procurement adheres to threshold values as per SCM
policy - Ensure effective and efficient processing of Requisition and
Purchase orders
Bid Administration
- Provide support in Bid Committee meeting specifications
- Ensure National Treasury Instruction Note on enhancing
compliance monitoring and improving transparency and
accountability in Supply Chain Management is implemented in
all procurement processes. - Render secretariat services to the Bidding committee
- Provide bid administrative support
Logistics Management
- Safeguard AgriSETA stationery and groceries
- Stock replenishment
- Monthly stock-take count and record keeping
- Issue stationery to users and file stationery request form for
audit
Travel Arrangements
- Assist all employees with travel logistics and bookings through
travel agencies - Resolve all after hour travels queries
- Respond to internal and external travel queries
Reporting
- Full compliance with reporting by due dates
- Report on status of procurement process
- RFQ Register
- Procurement by other means
Ad Hoc
Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time
Internal and External Contacts
- Internal: All internal AgriSETA departments
- External: Stakeholders, DHET, DOL, Service Providers
Minimum Qualification
- NQF 6 Supply Chain Management / Logistics/ or equivalent,
- Grade 12,
- No work experience in Supply Chain required.

- Basic Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Attention to detail
- Team player
