The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for analysing Africa’s supply chain capacity & capability considering future demand projections (3 – 5 years) across the zone to propose long-term capacity & capability plans for investment consideration.   • Analyse model outputs to propose strategic investment and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Assess feasibility & viability of network design proposals with the Supply (Manufacturing) & Procurement functions.
  • Prepare business cases consisting of volume benefit, cost impact and return-on-investment projections.
  • Support Supply Chain Design Manager in preparing for Supply Chain Design updates to Africa & Global Supply Chain Leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc strategic analysis as required.
  • Track & monitor approved proposals during and after project completion.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships across Supply, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Marketing.

Major Equipment Outage Planner

The key purpose of this role is to coordinate and ensure the successful execution of the Business Unit Annual Outages by serving as the interface between the plant, zone, procurement, and relevant suppliers and OEMs. The incumbent, reporting to the Zone Major Equipment Outage Planning Manager, will be responsible for aligning all stakeholders and managing the planning and delivery of outage activities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creation of baseline consolidated Major Equipment Outage Plan (MEO) for the BU, using process templates.
  • Maintenance of consolidated or master plan for ongoing or cyclic updates to the BOP and BU Leadership.

  • Track the regional strategic spare parts, identify the opportunity to share the regional plant spare parts, reduce risk of the regional inventory.

  • Negotiate and execute interior and exterior price communication; capture price priorities, ensure price point compliance and execute on the overall price and promotion campaigns throughout the year
  • Manage outlet retention by tracking and monitoring competitive shelf space and volumes sold and ensure effective positioning of brands for maximum volume growth.

Asset Management

  • Manage SAB refrigeration assets by driving governance and compliance for the SAB audit
  • Manage all SAB assets in the outlets including permanent merchandising and signage
  • Ensure SAB products are stocked in fridges as per ITEG
  • Conduct asset verification surveys (Fridges, etc.)
  • Assist customers with model stock system to manage stock replenishment and minimize stock outs
  • Manage stock rotation and quality

Minimum requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree
  • Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
  • Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Local area knowledge is a requirement.
  • Ability to work in a flexible working environment (working on weekends)
  • Successful completion of a drivers’ assessment test to demonstrate competency prior to appointment.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

GMTs should expect the following during their first 10 months:

  • 3 month rotations, with each experience aligned to our three strategic pillars.
  • Ideally in Marketing, Sales or Tech, and Supply / Logistics Projects within these rotations that expand knowledge and work on actual business challenges in each of these core functions.
  • Cheers! Festival (Global Induction) where GMTs will hear about our company strategy firsthand from our most senior leaders, and network with peers.

Profile:

  • By Program start, completed undergrad (STEM discipline preferred); and/or

  • No more than 3 years TOTAL of full-time formal working experience by the Program start date. (Internship, vac work, short duration contracts and co-op experiences does not apply)
  • Legal work authorization (full citizenship) in the country for which application is being submitted

The DynamX Logistics Traineeship grows and develops graduates by building functional & technical capability within the Logistics department (Warehouse, Inventory & Distribution).

About the Program:

  • A competitive program which is made up is made up of incremental fixed term contracts which accumulate to 24 months in duration.
  • Robust evaluations determine progression into each phase of the program within the 24 months
  • Unleashes potential through 6 month rotational cycles and enabling cross functional work experience in various teams within the respective function
  • The Program works on the 70-20-10 rule, where individuals learn 70% of their knowledge from challenging experiences and projects, 20% from developmental relationships, and 10% from coursework and training.
  • After a successful 24 months of continuous growth and completion of the program, you will be able apply for roles within the business to create a future with more cheers with us!

  • By program start completed bachelors’ degree (from a recognized tertiary institution) achieved within requisite  timeframe
  • Legal work authorization (full citizenship) in the country
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to quickly adapt to new systems
