Provincial Administrator

The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance in the Provincial Office; assist and coordinate customer care with external stakeholders; provide administrative support to ensure implementation of health and social development initiatives at a provincial and regional level.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric/ Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Office Administration/ Technology, Business Administration or Public Management or an equivalent qualification
  • Driver’s License and own vehicle
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Office Administration and related field.

Duties:

  • Perform delegated Education Training Quality Assurance functions
  • Perform delegated Research Information Monitoring and Evaluation functions
  • Perform delegated Skills Development Planning functions
  • Perform delegated Corporate Service functions
  • Perform functions related to building and maintaining Stakeholder Relations
  • Meeting Service Delivery Charter standards

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing, filing and retrieval of data for the SDP (80%) and other (20%) divisions; ensuring the highest level of data quality and integrity is maintained.

Minimum Educational requirements:  Matric / Grade 12
Post Matric certificate advantageous. 

Minimum work experience: 3 years previous data capture, filing and retrieval experience; Intermediate computer literacy – MS Office and Excel and attentive to details, comfortable with daily routine tasks, ability to multi-task and cope with pressures and setbacks.

Senior ODOO Developer

Senior ODOO Developer

To support in the Development of ERP programs on the ODOO Platform, which is an open source platform.

Minimum requirements: 

  • IT or Computer science related degree qualification.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 5 years of development experience (Python)
  • Proficiency in Python, Javascript, XML.
  • Readiness to learn a new language and frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix development environments is a must.

Desired skills

  • Docker and kubernetes experience
  • Sound knowledge or exposure to Odoo

Duties:

  • Application development using Odoo framework & components.
  • Bug fixing, performance optimization, production support.
  • Carrying out Odoo development activities for Customization, Code Migration, Data Migration & Import, Generating ERD Reports, Functional Test/User Acceptance Test, Automation Test & Unit Test.
  • Analyze and clarify functional specifications, write technical specifications, design technical structure of the solution, and implement business logic.
  • Work closely or in coordination with Team as needed to plan, scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and enhance Business applications and it’s features/solutions.
  • Understanding the requirements and participating in project planning by giving an estimation of the work to Team.
  • Make sure to follow the prescribed coding and development best practices to give high-quality output as per the requirement.
  • Adherence to the latest development methods like continuous deployment & integration.
  • Assess the impact of potential changes/customizations in Odoo’s core business apps, implement solutions to mitigate negative outcomes. 
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, algorithms, data-flow diagrams, layouts, user-flow diagrams, charts, code comments, and keeping code clean, readable, and optimized.
  • Must possess a strong learning curve and should be willing to learn new skills and concepts.

Cost to Company R30 000 – R45 000 per month

12 months fixed term contract
