Core Description
Responsible for the management of efficient debt collections and enhancing customer relationship management, in order to meet Openserve’s business objectives through sound debtor management principles, and manage the resolution of queries and disputes on Openserve national customer accounts.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure payment demands are done on overdue accounts
Manage payment allocation: approve allocated payments, check all payments are allocated, handle fall outs, ensure unallocated payments (suspense payments) are followed up and allocated against agreed to invoice/account
Manage extension of time/ pay-off requests
Manage suspensions and reconnections of services due to non-payment
Manage discontinuances of services due to non-payment
Manage processing of final account and write off
Update systems memo on CRAM & other relevant systems
Manage the handing over of written off accounts and follow up where applicable
Manage resolution of queries and disputes
Provide input to specific provisions for bad debt
Reports:
Provide input to Top 10 management report
Compile monthly reports: Top 60 reports and others as identified
Establish and maintained relationships with internal and external customers (these include: Debtors Management, Openserve customers, Account Management, Product Management, Solutions Architects, Service Management, Commercial, Legal services)
Manage performance of the team:
Set performance standards
Communicate desired outcomes
Compile Performance Contracts
Compile Development Plans
Monitor progress
Provide feedback
Implement corrective actions

Core Description
To fulfill cross functional contract management responsibilities during both pre and post contractual matters whilst monitoring the performance of all allocated contracts and ensuring best practice contract management is implemented until close-out. This role will in this context be mainly responsible for managing the performance of Service Providers/ Contractors and own staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Implementing best practice contract management in the context of SRM will be a key aspect of this role.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the accreditation and integration of Vendors into operations
- Oversee on-boarding of vendor technicians
- Record keeping of police clearance, ID cards, driver’s license, tools, equipment and vehicle checks
- Implement vendor management business plan
- Identify targets & goals for environment
Manages contract performance, business drivers and SLA’s - Implement best practice contract management for the entire contract management value chain
- Build relationships with vendors
- Responsible for documented liaison meetings including quality and safety scores
- Manage Vendor contracted SLA’s
- Dispute resolution between vendors and Telkom/ vendor
- Assist with drafting and negotiation of contracts, addendums, statement of works etc.
- Create and implement contract guidelines relevant to different parts of the business and ensure required training is conducted.

- Manage service provider claims, disputes and audits

- Ensure quality & timelines are met
Manages internal & external customer relationships - Build relationships with relevant stakeholders by building and managing internal and external customer relationships
Manages of budgets, expenditure and performance reporting - Manage finances and resources of section
- Manage and approve vendor payments/ penalties according to DOA
